The space **We like to remind our guests that this is a home built in 1872, even during moderate weather the heating/air conditioning ventilation can lag a bit, and isn't like a new home. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom for comfort** Go for a walk around historic Angel Hill, relax on the couch reading from our small Minnesotan/Wisconsin book collection, or grab a board game and sit around the dining table. •The space• The home is furnished with space in mind, accommodating even the largest groups. Enjoy the 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house (1 shower) sleeping up to 8 people comfortably. All bedrooms are equipped with a queen bed, night stand, and outlets to charge any device. Bedroom 1 is located up the original staircase in the front of the home so if you stay in this room you will make a quick trip downstairs to use the bathroom. Bedrooms 2, 3, and 4 are located up the kitchen staircase right next to the upstairs bathroom. These bedrooms have dresser/closet space, and a nice view from the second floor windows. All bedrooms have there own door, ensuring privacy and a great nights sleep. Be aware there is no bedroom on the main floor. There is a baby gate for both sets of stairs. Feel free to use if you're bringing little ones. •Living Room• The living room has a large comfortable couch with one accent chair appointed in the corner and a large 65-inch Smart-TV. Enjoy the open-floor feel as you relax adjacent to the dining and kitchen area. Feel free to log-in to your favorite streaming services on the Smart-TV! Cable/Streaming is not provided. •Kitchen• Use the kitchen (fully stocked) to make your favorite home-cooked meal, or the dining room (8 spots!) and two additional spots at the kitchen island to order-in from one of the many great eats in town. Ice trays will be clean and ready for use in the cabinet and filtered water faucet provided at the kitchen sink. •2 Bathrooms• (1 Shower) Upstairs bathroom is located next to 3 of the bedrooms, and is equipped with a large cabinet and clawfoot bathtub. The main bathroom is located on the main floor and has a walk-in shower. •Washer and Dryer• Washer and dryer are available for your use. Detergent and dryer sheets are provided. •Porch• The spacious porch offers a relaxing space to unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink while taking in the fresh air and peaceful surroundings while being protected from most of the elements. •Beautiful Yard w/ Firepit• Lastly, enjoy the large yard surrounding the house as the breeze rushes through the top of Angel Hill. The half acre yard is large enough for the family to run circles around the home for hours. Firepit and 8 chairs are provided, please bring your own firewood. •Location and Walking• Home is on top of a large hill, but our family loves taking walks around the historic neighborhood and into town. Expect some incline! There is a great connection to the State Park Railroad Trail just a block or two from the driveway. - 11min walk to Interstate State Park Visitor Center and Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours - 9min drive to Trollhaugen Ski and *Summer* Recreation Area - 12min drive to Wild Mountain Ski and *Summer* Waterpark and Adventure Area - 9min walk to the The Goat Saloon and many other Bench St (Main Street) restaurants and attractions like Schoony's Malt Shop and Pizzeria! While Taylors Falls has a handful of restaurants, bars, and attractions (Including Interstate State Park). St Croix, Wisconsin is less than a mile away and has many options as well. Lastly, we highly recommend checking out the buzzing town of Lindstrom just a 14min drive away! Guest access •Guest access The entire house, yard, driveway, and lot will be yours to enjoy. The property is placed on its own block, so it has nice privacy for gathering and enjoying the outdoors. Other things to note Please bring your own charcoal and fluid for use of the grill.
