Sundown Stables
Sundown Stables
Description
Sundown Stables is a peaceful and unique hideaway a short walk from market town, Thirsk. A thriving town with a local cinema, independent coffee shops, arts centre and sculpture park. Also with great links to York, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Whitby, Manchester and London. Walks nearby include the Kilburn White Horse and Howardian Hills and you can also visit the museum of James Herriot, made famous through 'All Creatures Great and Small.' Other things to note We have a courtyard at the front of the property for guests to use. The house is a converted stables and we are surrounded and attached by other stables that are a mixture of residential and holiday homes. Our courtyards are fenced and gated, but have an open plan feel. There is generous planting for privacy, but it does mean as you enjoy your morning coffee in the sun, a neighbour may be doing the same in their courtyard. The community is a friendly bunch of people, you can say hello or enjoy some time to yourself. Please note only one bed will made up for a two person (couple) stay, unless specifically requested. We charge a small cleaning fee for pets staying.
