Grand Lake Private Beachfront

Family friendly beachfront property on Grand Lake. Located on Cumberland Point Farms this cottage has been used by our family for three generations. A wonderful place to relax and unwind while enjoying the fantastic Grand Lake environment. The space Arguably the best beach on Grand Lake! With a southern exposure enjoy the beautiful summer days playing in the water, relaxing on the beach, sitting on the shaded front patio, or enjoy a good book lounging under the cedar trees in the hammock. Centrally located between Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John you are never more than 60 minutes away from a major city with the Town of Sussex roughly 45 minutes away. Three bedrooms with double beds, one bath, and a full kitchen. There is no internet or cable as we like this to be a place to disconnect and unwind. There is a full cell signal should you require. On calm nights enjoy the sounds of crickets in the hay field that is our backyard and the loons howling on the lake under the moonlight, or fall asleep to the sound of crashing waves if a breeze picks up in the evening. If conditions permit an evening sitting around the campfire watching the sunset across the lake is hard to beat. During the day take advantage of not only the beach but also the spacious yard to enjoy badminton or volleyball, soccer or croquet, or whatever games and fun you can come up with! Please share any new games you come up with to add to our repertoire. Fresh seasonal produce available to purchase each day from Cumberland Point Farms only a short walk away. A private boat launch is accessible via the side yard. It is over the beach and 4WD is required. We ask that any ruts created be raked at the end of your stay to prevent erosion of the beach and maintain the visual aesthetics. Guest access Full access Other things to note Please note that this cottage is on a well and septic system. Please be mindful of water usage and what is flushed. TP only! Fresh drinking water is provided as part of the rental with the filtered well water for all other needs. No motorized vehicles allowed on the beach with the exception of vehicles to launch and tow watercraft. ATV, dirt bikes, etc. are strictly prohibited on our property and the surrounding area.
