Please be our guest in Rosie's Suite at Homestead Farmette, a beautiful farmhouse located amid the picturesque countryside of central Pennsylvania. The space Rosie's Suite is a cozy, studio-style apartment nestled on the lower level of the home that features a king-sized bed, allowing it to comfortably sleep two guests. A pack-n-play is also available for infants by request. In addition to a small dining table, the Studio also has a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and microwave for preparing a bite to eat. There is a high chair available by request as well. Rosie's Suite has a private patio with a table and chair and a beautiful view of the backyard. The full bath features a shower with a built-in seat. Although Rosie's Suite does not have a television, it is equipped with Wifi so guests may bring a laptop or tablet to stream their favorite entertainment. Rosie's Suite is the perfect landing place for folks traveling for business and longer stays are welcome. A complimentary cleaning service will be performed approximately every ten days for long-term guests. Although there is no washer or dryer located in the Studio, long-term guests may arrange for laundry service at a cost of $10 per load for personal items. Laundering of towels and bedding for long-term guests during their stay is complimentary. For guests who prefer handling their own laundry, there is a laundromat in the nearby town of Mifflinburg; approximately a 7 minute drive from Homestead Farmette. Rosie's Suite is located adjacent to the Studio, which is directly below the Villa. The Villa and the Studio are two other apartments available at Homestead Farmette, and may be reserved in conjunction with one another for families in need of additional space or couples traveling together who would like private accommodations while sharing time together on the beautiful grounds. Guest access As our guest you will enjoy clean, well-appointed accommodations with exterior entry to your own private unit. Feel free to enjoy your stay at your own pace and come and go as you please. Take a stroll, view the rolling fields nearby or the cattle grazing on our property, enjoy time spent on your own patio or in the privacy of your apartment; or perhaps venture off to the nearby towns of Mifflinburg, Lewisburg or Milton for a festival or special event, a great meal or some antiquing. Other things to note The entry to Rosie's Suite is located in the back of the house. Guests will need to navigate a few steps down to the entryway. Rosie's Suite is located beneath the main part of the house which is occupied by the host and her husband. Although great care is taken not to disturb guests, on occasion guests may be able to hear some sounds of daily living from the home above. Although children are welcome, the apartment has no child safety measures such as outlet covers, etc. Rosie's Suite at Homestead Farmette is located 7 minutes from Mifflinburg and its renowned Christkindl Market; 15 minutes from Lewisburg, home of Bucknell University and Evangelical Community Hospital; 30 minutes from Selinsgrove, home of Susquehanna University; 35 minutes from Danville, home of Geisinger Medical Center; 40 minutes from Williamsport, home of Lycoming College and the Little League World Series Complex; 40 minutes from Bloomsburg, home of Bloomsburg University and the famed Bloomsburg Fair and one hour from State College, home of Penn State University.
