Welcome to Retreat on White Rock, a haven designed for families and groups seeking relaxation and rejuvenation.This newly constructed build is a comforting mix of modern, yet cozy vibes. We are nestled on the edge of the Gaspereau Valley, within minutes of several beautiful wineries. The retreat is in a very unique location, situated close to Kentville (7 mins) New Minas (7 mins), Port Williams (10mins) and Wolfville (12 mins), yet maintains the serenity of a getaway. The space This two level, four bedroom Duplex was designed with relaxation and luxury in mind sleeping 8-10 guests, making it ideal for creating unforgettable memories with loved ones. It was designed and is hosted by a family who loves to travel and appreciates the ‘extras’ put in place to make the stay as comfortable and safe as possible (playpens, safety gates, toys, kitchen accessories, bed rails, booster seats, high chair, toilet seats, etc). For those traveling from afar - we even have the option to rent strollers for an additional cost. As you step inside, you will be greeted by contemporary, brand new finishes that blend seamlessly with a warm, inviting decor. The principle bedroom with a queen bed, walk in closet, and principle bathroom is located on the main level. The open-plan living area is equipped with plush seating and entertainment options allowing for a welcoming space for everyone to gather, socialize and unwind. Our fully equipped kitchen is complete with new appliances and an intimate 10- person built in bench dining area invites you to connect over culinary adventures and game nights. On the second floor you enter the landing which provides another nook for whole family activities. This includes a television, pull out sectional (sleeps 2), yoga mats, games, play area for the kids. There are two rooms with king beds, one of which has an ensuite bathroom and the other has a small desk set up. The third bedroom has two twin beds. There is a family washroom on this level that has a bathtub for the kids or for soaking after a long day of cycling. All rooms have black out blinds. Directly off the kitchen on the main floor is a screened-in room that bathes the entire space in natural light, creating a warm inviting atmosphere to have a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. From there you step outside to discover your inviting 6-person hot tub, amidst nature’s backdrop. Later in the evening, you can soak away your cares under the stars, while friends or family roast marshmallows around the fire pit. Local Attractions: • Experience in the region's renowned wineries, just a short drive away. Year round tastings and winter activities available. • Embark on scenic hikes or cycling on nearby trails. • Tubing on the Gaspereau River during the summer months.(5 mins) • Rentals of SUP/tubes available (5 mins). -Take in some of the provinces best fine dining at local restaurants. • Visit local farm stands, apple cideries, craft breweries, and farmers markets. • Get lost in a corn maze or visit the pumpkin people in the fall. • Spend a day at Nordic SaltAir Spa (opening Spring 2024) • Hike some or all of the 13.5km system of interconnected trails at Blomindon park, • New Minas hosts all major amenities for last minute needs - Superstore, Sobeys, NSLC, Winners, Canadian Tire, Walmart, fast food, thrift stores, etc. (5 mins) Guest access Guests will have complete access to entire 4 bedroom home. Outdoor areas separated by privacy fence. Other things to note **Please note, this is a duplex - Hosts live on opposite side of the duplex. While properties are connected only by dual garages, it is possible to hear one another outside. The firepits and hot tubs are on opposite sides of building, however 10pm is considered quiet time.
