At Amandine and Elise's – Between the coves and the sea

Welcome to our triplex house, quiet, cozy, sunny and surrounded by greenery. Between the sea and the coves. Our house is ideal for families, couples, or stays with friends. Being our main residence, it is imbued with our personal touch, thus offering an authentic and welcoming experience. The space Our house consists of two floors: - Ground floor 1 main room: kitchen open to the living room (with double sofa bed), overlooking the small garden. Toilet and small storeroom. - First floor, 3 rooms: master bedroom - comfortable 160 bed, two bathrooms (including a bathtub/shower) and a balcony, separate toilet. The master suite which opens onto the balcony, has a dressing room and a modern bathroom with a spacious Italian shower. A co-sleeping bed for a baby can be added on request. - Top floor under the slope, 2 rooms: > children's bedroom and office/guest room. For the little ones, the children's bedroom is a play area, full of toys and books that stimulate the imagination and invite play. There is a cot and two 90 x 200 mattresses on the floor if you need to sleep several children or 2 additional adults. An extra travel cot if necessary. > The office (2 places), can be transformed into a guest room, it has a very comfortable double sofa bed. Please note that this accommodation is not suitable for disabled people because of the floors. Although the living room/kitchen is 35m2, our house is functional: the central island is convertible to 8 places. All the main rooms are equipped with air conditioning, they ensure optimal comfort in summer. The small garden of 25 m² is a real urban oasis, where you can relax in a hammock and a deckchair. For a little water, you can help yourself and enjoy freshly picked tomatoes if the season allows it, and even have a small barbecue or electric plancha. A canoe-kayak is available to you in a club near the Pointe Rouge if necessary. We have many indoor and outdoor green plants and we ask our dear guests to take the greatest care of them during our absence. Finally, located near the largest pine forest in Marseille, the house offers you direct access to a natural space, ideal for relaxing walks under the pines to the coves. Other things to note The house is located in a peaceful neighborhood in the southeast of Marseille, between the sea, hills, and pine forest, a kind of “urban countryside”. Ideally situated for those looking to explore the natural wonders of the Calanques and soak up the local atmosphere. Please note, we are not close to the city center. We used to have a cat in the house, so please be mindful if you are allergic. A short 10-minute walk takes you to beaches where you can enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine. We are also just a 15-minute walk from the famous Calanques, offering easy access to breathtaking landscapes and crystal-clear waters. For example: Sormiou Calanque entrance: only 5 minutes by car, then about a 40-minute walk to reach its beaches. Morgiou Calanque entrance: only 10 minutes by car, then about a 40-minute walk to reach its small beach. Since these sites are protected, direct car access to the bottom without walking is possible only if you book in advance at one of the restaurants located at the base of the Calanques. The Calanques National Park is a true gem, offering a variety of activities such as hiking, rock climbing, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, or simply relaxing in a spectacular setting. For your daily needs, local shops are just a short 5-minute walk away. You will find everything you need: an organic grocery store, a shopping mall for larger purchases, as well as neighborhood stores such as a butcher, bakery, pharmacy, newsstand, doctor, bar, pizzeria, and a greengrocer for fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables. Our home enjoys close proximity to seaside attractions without the inconvenience of the summer crowds. The bars and restaurants of Pointe Rouge and Escale Borély — where you can enjoy stunning sea views — are a 15-minute walk away, with a lively atmosphere all year round. Some small coves are quieter in summer than the nearest beaches, and we’ll be happy to give you tips about them. For your outings and excursions, the RTM maritime shuttle from Pointe Rouge port (20 min walk) takes you directly to the Old Port or to Les Goudes — two emblematic spots in Marseille offering a rich cultural experience and breathtaking scenery. We also have bus line 44 just 100 meters away, which connects to the Prado metro line (near the Vélodrome stadium). Nearby, you’ll also find Borély Park — perfect for leisurely walks or sunny family days. Pastré Park, a little wilder, offers hiking trails and picnic areas, ideal for a relaxing afternoon in nature, along with the Marseilleveyre Calanque gateway. Seaside activities abound, with opportunities for sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
