This spacious 5 Bedroom Western-style private lodge is ski in and 400 meters from Goryu/Hakuba 47 and offers all the comforts of home for your ‘place to stay’ in Japan, while staying in a relaxed and beautiful forest setting close to restaurants and bars in Goryu Village. All bedrooms have large private en-suites and king size beds. The space On the upper floor there is a spacious dining area, lounge and bar with open fire place and amazing views. A media room with a SmartTV, board games and books. The fully equipped professional kitchen comes with a fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine, oven and dishwasher. All guest bedrooms on the first floor have Sealy Posturepedic beds with 5-star linen, and come with micro-fleece bathrobes and slippers. 5 Spacious bedrooms rooms can be configured to suit your group; 4 x twin rooms with 2 king single beds or double rooms with king beds and 1 x quad room with bunk bed (an extra mattress is available on request). Rooms include usb charging and underfloor heating. All rooms have private en-suite with a separate shower and Pola shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Other things to note The lodge is a 5-minute drive from JR Hakuba Goryu Bus stop/Kamishiro Train Station, and transfers are available on check-in and check-out, please let us know in advance. There is a choice of bedroom configuration, 3 x King or Twin bedrooms, 1 x Twin bedroom, 1 x quad bedroom. Please advise the ideal bedding configuration for your group. On-site parking is provided. To Get Around - Goryu ski resort is about 10 min walk. - The closest free shuttle bus stop is about 2 min walk. - Restaurants and bars opening in the neighborhood in winter all within walking distance. Car Rentals We recommend renting a 4WD vehicle with studless tires—especially in winter. It gives you the freedom to explore, and for most groups, it’s cheaper than public transport. Best options: -Airports: Toyota, Nissan, and Times rental cars are available at major airports. Great for flexibility and one-way rentals. -Nagano Station: A good spot to rent a newer car with English GPS and skip the bus/taxi to Hakuba. Local rentals in Hakuba (all 4WD with ski racks): -Windy Car Rental – Biggest selection, year-round, with delivery to your place. -Kibeje Car Rental – Quality Toyota/Nissan cars, also with delivery. -Freedom Car Rental – No delivery service. -Hakuba Car Sales and Rentals – Offers both rentals and cars for sale.
