Come and relax at Serenity Farmhouse (Stela's Retreat) ~ the "rustic gem" of the Shenandoah Valley. This stylish 1940s farmhouse boasts gorgeous views of mountain peaks and agrarian fields. You'll enjoy 1.38 acres of lush greenery and colorful blossoms, as well as nearby vineyards, majestic caverns, poignant Civil War battlefields, and quaint historical towns along scenic Route 11. No matter how you spend your time, you will feel right at home, relaxed and rejuvenated. The space This serene and chic historical farmhouse has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a large kitchen (the heart of the home), a well appointed livingroom (with a dedicated workspace), two covered porches, a reading corner (on the second floor), and a laundry room. (Note that the staircase between the first and second floor is steep.) Guest access You are welcome to use all spaces in the house, except for the basement, which is locked. The covered porch that connects to the kitchen is also available for use, though it's in the process of being updated. Enjoy! Other things to note You can use all the items in the kitchen that aren't locked... Enjoy the tea selection, plus the snacks and bottled water. Also, feel free to grab any pamphlets, guides, and business cards on/inside the sidetable (next to the TV) and inside the coffeetable.
