Take a break and unwind at this peaceful house in the hills of St Ann Jamaica away from all inclusive resorts. This home will be a delightful experience from off the beaten tract. Reflect, restore, hike explore. The rich country side will restore your soul. You might even want plant and see how quickly plants and vegetables grow. its up to you. Stay all winter or until you finish the book you have longed to write. The space This family property is in rich farming land. Water tank (cistern ) collects rainwater for general use. Iron Grill on windows and Veranda There is a system to have running water in the house, but it must be electric pumped as needed. There is full size gas stove and fridge. Your day will probably start early and end early. Your closest neighbors cannot be seen or heard. Access to town is taxi, walking or your own rented vehicle. The road is quite rough but vehicles use it . . There are no wild animals in Jamaica only mongoose but they don't bother people. If you are afraid of insects this is not for you. While every effort is made to keep them at bay you must keep in mind this is the tropics. Guest should have insect repellant and flashlight. Some people might benefit from earplugs. The house is equipped with basic kitchen utilities. Kettle cooking utensils, bullet blender, coffee maker, microwave and dishes and cutlery. Smart TV, DVD's and player, battery and electric radio. Before arriving, I suggest shopping for items you need. Guest access This house has 5 bedrooms with two refurbished for guest. No family lives there. Bev is available to assist guest and answer questions and drop by whenever needed. Phone service and your own Internet keeps you connected with the outside world. Other things to note Armadale house is more of a cottage in the hills of St Ann. It is located about 2hrs from Montego Bay Airport. Taxi can pick up our guest at the Airport and transfer. Cost for transfer from Montego Bay Airport $120-150 USD. Host can assist in arranging a taxi. The closet shopping area is about 20mins driving and 40mins walking. (Alexandria) Gas station, Library, Grocery store, Hardware, Police station, ATM and route taxi connection to wherever you would like to go. Brown's Town is a developed town with almost all the needs someone might want about 35mins away from Alexandria.
