With two floors of sunlit splendor, the upper level boasts 4 cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully arranged for your comfort: Bedroom 1: Double Bed Bedroom 2: Double Bed Bedroom 3: Double Bed Bedroom 4: 2 Single Beds A cheerful full bath on the upper level and an additional half bath on the lower level with stackable washer/dryer to ensure convenience for all guests. Feel the rhythm with traditional NL music instruments like the Irish whistle or the Ugly Stick, crafted from a mop! Relax with some vinyl tunes or enjoy a movie night on the flatscreen. Explore the rich history of Carbonear, one of North America's oldest settlements, with attractions like the Rorke Store Museum, Busy Hands Arts and Crafts center, Sheila Na Geira Theatre, and the charming Stone Jug pub. At Tigh-Na-Mara, we invite you to make yourself at home and create cherished memories. Stay awhile and savor the coastal magic... additional amenities: soon an above ground pool, a wishing well, a play structure, possibly a labyrinth also: ironing board, whale nightlight, binoculars, berry picking bucket, mermaid tail blanket, art supplies for all ages, beach accessories, corn hole, horseshoes, croquet, nearby children's playground, haven spa around the corner, 3 walkie talkies, 2 Bluetooth indoor outdoor speakers, popcorn and s'mores kits, additional chairs, neighborhood cat Max who cannot enter the house but thinks he owns the place 'Max'...the list goes on.... re accessibility: ramps are easily arranged and a hoist for the cedar hot tub will be installed; safety bar on tub upstairs; the house was built with trees circa 1840 by two brothers, fishing captains. Heat is oil primarily and there is electric on the first floor; the electric fireplace also has powerful heat setting. the attic was full of antiques which have been moved to the matching 2 story outbuilding. outdoor games, additional chairs and more antiques are stored there, thus you need only request the items you have need of and we can accommodate you. the outbuilding is inaccessible to guests for safety reasons; eventually it will be converted into a studio. there are kayaks and other boats which we are unable to offer guests due to insurance issues.
