Our warm and welcoming house is perfect for a stay of a few weeks in Cayenne. Located in a peaceful and quiet place, it will allow you to recharge your batteries. 10 minutes from the beaches, forest walks and the city center, it is ideal as a base whether you come to discover Guyana, or you come to visit relatives. The space Our house is located in a residence with a swimming pool (11 m long). Our neighbor Mathys will take care of welcoming you and will be at your disposal during your stay. He will also feed our two cats Billie and Baloue, who are also adorable and cuddly and spend half their time at his house. The residence is located towards the roundabout of the Baduel swimming pool, it is very quiet, we are at the very end, far from the road and the passage. The garden is private and not overlooked. The house is composed of: - a living room: sofa (which is a sofa bed), video projector and large screen with remote control, toilets, a library that comic book lovers will appreciate. We also have a lot of board games for 2 to 6 players. There is an air breather with remote control, convenient on windless days. The house is often very well ventilated and it is not too hot even in the dry season. - a kitchen and its pantry: kitchen redone by us, it overlooks the living room, well equipped (dishwasher, oven, fridge and freezer, mixers, blender, electric citrus press, steam cooker, kettle and electric teapot, piston coffee maker, soda stream...). In the pantry there is a washing machine and in the garage enough to hang the laundry in the shelter. - a terrace: 20 m², overlooking the garden, equipped with a dining table and coffee table, a "beer fridge" and another sofa. We like comfort! - one bedroom upstairs: 200 x 190 bed, air conditioning, fan, mosquito nets on the windows and door. - a 2nd bedroom upstairs: bed of 140 x 190, desk, mosquito net on doors and windows (no photo but same size of room), air conditioning and fan. - a bathroom with shower and toilet The garden is full of plants, some of which are edible (3 different spinaches, 1 papaya, 2 banana trees, 1 passion fruit, thyme, basil, mint, ginger, lemongrass...) and very cute, the hammock nap is conducive since it is in the shade in the afternoon. You can also have a snack or breakfast there. There is a dedicated parking space (or two if necessary) outside. Number of people: between 2 and 6 (the sofa bed can be 2 places if necessary, you can also add a single bed for a child in the 2nd bedroom) Nearby: You have to take the car to go to the shops or the beach in general. Everything is a 5-minute drive away: Montjoly shopping center, Montabo beach and Montabo hiking trail. Rémire beaches and the Rorota trail are 10 minutes away. The airport is 20 minutes away without traffic (45 with). Nice little bonus: We can lend our inflatable paddle for sea or cove excursions.
