Garden Bungalow, Kidoti Wild Garden

Our garden Bungalow has one bedroom with a double and single bed and private patio and seating in the lush gardens of Kidoti. Bathroom with WC and shower. Completely renovated in 2025. Breakfast is included in the price. Wake up on the waterfront of the Indian ocean and a hot cup of coffee. Ocean to mouth eating fresh calamari-fish-crab, kayak to an island, watch sunsets, moon rises, bonfire evenings at waterfront restaurant. Lazy hammock days, rustic luxurious peaceful living, 6star meals. The space Our guesthouse Kidoti Wild Garden consists of two bungalows, four rooms and a restaurant. This bungalow is in the garden with ocean views from the private sitting area in the garden. The village of Kidoti is on the north west coast of Unguja island of Zanzibar, and our guesthouse is a quiet and relaxing place in nature. We have a unique relationship with the village of Kidoti which is 15 minute walk up the hill, many villagers pass by to get to the ocean where they harvest crab, mussels, seaweed. As well a fisherman’s local port is just down from us making it easy to get great fresh fish and sometimes lobster. We always have a sunset and different times of the month you can see the moon rise. And starry nights are abundant! Guest access Guests can access all of the property. Feel free to chill in our swinging beds and hammocks. Enjoy a walk in the gardens, we have fruit trees and a vegetable garden. In the restaurant you will find books and card games. We have kayaks that you are welcome to use and as the ocean and the coast are our front yard so when the tide is out you have lots of space to explore as well! You can also hike up to the hill and catch a dahla dahla to Kendwa or Nungwi. Or you can walk along the coast when the tide is out. If you would like to see local farmers you can also wander down the road and check out daily village life. Other things to note * There is only enough hot water for a short shower. * You will find the best internet connection by the restaurant and in the area around it like when chilling in the front hammocks and the seating area down by the sea. * We have a coral beach (not sandy), and as it can be a bit sharp it is a great idea to bring water shoes. You can also borrow from us! * We have friendly dogs that live with us on the property.
