The space The condo features the following: - Comfortable sleep for 1-2 people: 1 double bed with a Simmons beautyrest medium-firm mattress - Open concept living area: 1 couch, TV with Apple TV - kitchen equipped for easy cooking: full size appliances, large quartz counter top kitchen island, cooking and baking utensils and dishware, coffee and tea making supplies - Wifi: high-speed internet - Separate office room: 27-inch computer monitor, adjustable standing desk, reading nook and bookcase - 2 storage closets: 1 walk-in closet, 1 entryway closet with shoe storage - Laundry: washer & dryer - Lake and city views from the balcony with patio furniture The building features the following: - Self-check-in with Smart Lock - Gym (free access) - 24/7 security - NO PARKING INCLUDED. note there is only paid parking on the street (enforced by the city) or a nearby parking garage with nightly rates. Guests will have to arrange their own parking should they wish to bring a car. LOCATION: - Located in Old Town, Toronto's historic district, known for the iconic St.Lawrence Market, delicious restaurants and cafes, St. James Park (an urban garden retreat) and eclectic furniture design stores. - <10 min walk to Distillery District, St.Lawrence Market, King Subway Station and the Financial District - 15 min walk to the lake, Eaton Centre or Union Station - 30 min walk/15 min transit/5 min drive to CN Tower / Rogers Centre / Scotiabank Arena How to get around: - Taking a taxi or Uber is a breeze. It takes around 2 minutes to get one at the front door. - The King St. and Queen St. Streetcars operate near the building and can take you to the west end or the east end of Toronto - King Subway station is a 10 min walk, from there you can access Toronto's extensive subway system - Union Station is a 15-20 min walk, from there you can hop on the GO train (which goes to Niagara Falls), Via Rail (for Montreal, Ottawa or other Canadian cities) or the UP Express (to go directly to Pearson Airport) Getting here from Toronto Pearson International Airport: - order an Uber / Lyft to the front door for around $40, which takes approximately ~30 min (depending on traffic) - take the UP Express to Union Station for $12.35, and then take the King St streetcar (504a/504b/503) heading east for $3.35 or walk, which takes approximately ~45 min Guest access Guests have access to the entire condo (2 bedroom condo with 1 bedroom and 1 office), the balcony and the common area gym. Other things to note Absolutely NO smoking or parties permitted. Those found breaking the rules are subject to a fine and cancellation of the booking. We do not accept bookings by 3rd parties on behalf of someone else. Only those who are listed in the booking can stay in the apartment. No additional guests are allowed, if guest is found violating these rules, this will result in cancellation. No parcel delivery/pick up and no parking available. IMPORTANT: EXTRA CHARGES WILL APPLY IF: Sinks: you put hair or food in the sinks and clog them. Tub/shower: clogging or breaking of the tub and shower. Dryer: please clean out the lint in the dryer after each use. Dishwasher: clogging or breaking the dishwasher. Other appliances: breaking and tampering with other appliances. Loss, theft or damage of any items in the apartment will be paid for by the guest. BALCONY RULES: Do not dispose of anything off of the balcony. Do not hang any items (clothes, lights, etc.) off the balcony. Throwing any items from the balcony is a criminal offence and is in direct violation of the building rules and city by-laws. Guests found disposing of items off of the balcony will be reported to the police by building management and subject to a fine, with their reservation cancelled immediately.
