Description
We have a campsite near Lake George in Skowhegan and we added a few sites to share with friends and family. This is a cozy cabin ideal for a family who want to get away and enjoy the outdoors. There’s a small fridge to keep your drinks cold and an air conditioner to keep you comfortable on warm days. There’s a fire pit with a grill for cooking. Onsite there is a communal bath house and a covered pavilion. This campsite is just a short trail walk from the Lake George regional Park. The space There are communal bathrooms with a sink and showers. From the campsite you can take a 10 minute walk down to the lake or you can spend the day hiking. You can drive down to the boat landing and put your kayak in the water or continue up the road to enjoy a nice sandy beach. Onsite there are some horse shoes and corn hole games that you’re welcome to use. Guest access Guests have access to all of the shared areas of the campground. The bathhouse is the little building with the green doors next. There’s a map in your camp for accessing the Lake George trails. The access trail is located near the back left corner of the pavilion. The trail is marked by a sign and orange spray paint on the trees. Guests are welcome to use the bbq grills, tables and play the games under the pavilion. There is also a horseshoe pit and a zip line for kids on site that you can use at your own risk. We even have some ax throwing targets that you are welcome to use at your own risk and with your own axes.
