Quiet place to Relax Lakeview Swiftwater which sleeps 6 is a perfect place to stay whether you are hiking on the one-mile Lake Ridge Trail to explore wildlife, boating on the 5,000-acre Falls of Rough Lake, or going to the beautiful lodge to dine, or attending one of their annual events. The A-frame log cabin is surrounded by oak and pine trees that give lots of privacy to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature. Behind the cabin is a fire pit and seating to enjoy at night with family and friends. The space The cabin has 2 bedrooms with queen beds in each room and a sleeper sofa in the living room. One of the bedrooms has a jetted jacuzzi tub plus a large walk-in shower and the other has a tub/bath shower. The kitchen and living room are an open concept with a stone fireplace to enjoy on those cool nights with a large screen TV above. The kitchen is equipped with all the amenities you will need to enjoy your stay and we provide a starter kit of trash bags, paper towels, dishwashing soap, and sample coffee for your arrival. A full-size washer and dryer is available with detergent if needed. A gas grill is located outside for barbecuing with grilling utensils inside the kitchen. Behind the cabin is a fire pit and seating to enjoy at night to roast hotdogs or smores with family or friends. The front deck has two dining tables with umbrellas and seating for 8 to enjoy the late afternoon views of the lake while relaxing or dining. There is a neighborhood pond to fish for catch and release for enjoyment. We currently have Direct TV that offers many channels to watch and Wi-Fi will be available soon. Guest access There is plenty of parking in the driveway for guests, do not park on the gravel road, it will block others coming through. Other things to note There is no smoking or pets allowed. Cigarette butt containers are located on the front and back deck for disposal. Please do not burn trash in the firepit.
