At times there will be cattle or horses grazing the lower paddock, fenced from the house and its surrounding area. Other things to note For basic supplies (milk, bread, butter, wine, beer etc), the Merrijig Motor Inn is 5 minutes' drive down the road. They also offer pub style lunch and dinner meals and also have great wood fired pizzas on a Friday night! Ski and ski gear hire is also available here during the winter ski season. The famous Hunt Club Pub is also 5 minutes away where you can enjoy a meal and the full country pub experience. Mansfield is only a 15 minute drive and offers some fantastic pubs, cafes and restaurants. They also have a well stocked IGA, Foodworks, newsagency, pharmacy and boutique shops. A hospital is also located in Mansfield.
