Bamboo Wave is a waterfront house located on Isla Bastimentos (2/3 national park), around the corner from Old Bank (Authentic Afro-Caribbean, 3-4 minutes to quaint Basti Town with 4 restaurants), and a 10-min. boat taxi from Bocas Town, you will find us on the quiet, breezy side of the island - perfect for some relaxation and a great access point to all the area has to offer. Nearly 180 degree water view right in front!! Yoga next door If you want loud music and heat--stay in town, not here!! The space This house offers two comfortable bedrooms with queen beds, a central living space with a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, stove, blender, toaster, cooking utensils, pots & pans, etc.), and one bathroom. Hot showers, too! Out front, there is a big deck with 180 degree views of our jungle paradise, Caribbean Sea, and islands. Perfect location for watching the sunset or scoping out the day's surf forecast. Guest access The whole house is yours to enjoy! The deck is accessed through a locked door and you have direct access to the deck from every room. You will receive those keys upon arrival. Our host Lily will greet you, and is available just down the path toward town. she will show you the house, and tell you about much of what is available in the islands. WiFi is available as well! The jungle doesn't allow for the fastest internet, but we have about the best connection available. we streamed many shows recently. Other things to note Welcome to true jungle life! We collect rain water for use in the house which is usually ample, however during the dry months, please be aware of your water use and report any leaks or problems immediately.
