Minimalist house in the countryside near the ocean

20 min from Les Sables d'Olonne and the Vendée Globe Our house is a small haven of peace in the heart of Vendée with a panoramic view overlooking a 7-hectare field. Located 15 minutes by car from the large beach of Les Sables D'Olonne, 20 minutes from Bretignolles-sur-mer, 1 hour from the pretty island of Noirmoutier and the boarding for the Île d'Yeu, 1 hour from Nantes and Puy du Fou. Ideally located to explore and discover the Atlantic coast. House for 8 adults and 2 children max. The space Discover our minimalist-style house, also called "La Maison Blanche" The house has outdoor cameras, these overlook the entrance of the house and the courtyard. They will be in operation during your stay. Although the view of the garden overlooks a large field of 7 hectares, which allows a different postcard each season (cows, wheat, grass...), we have neighbors on the right, my parents, who are renovating a nice barn, as well as on the front of the house at the front door. Nevertheless, we are outside the subdivision in a cul-de-sac, so the neighborhood is very quiet. Depending on the dates of your stay, there may be a tractor in the field cultivating. The accommodation is not recommended for families with young children, the house being new, there is still some outdoor development work (entrance driveway, coating of the fence wall, high garden without guardrail). It can therefore be dangerous for the little ones. There are no guardrails on the stairs. An overhead projector is available (on request in summer) to watch matches, movies... on the large wall of the garage overlooking the garden and terrace. Outdoor games will be available in the garage: Molkki, balls, buoys and rackets to go to the beach. Being our main residence, we have 2 adorable cats that live between the house and the garden, so you will have to think about checking their bowls, there are two distributors so it is not binding and make sure to open the kitchen window in the morning and evening, they can sleep outside :) For this reason, no pets will be accepted. THE BEDROOMS: On the ground floor: Master bedroom with 160 x 200 bed, TV, dressing room, bathroom with shower and bathtub. Upstairs: Bedroom 2 with 140 x 200 cm bed on a platform + extra sofa for children because it is not very comfortable, 120 x 190 cm, dressing area and TV. Bedroom 3 with 140 x 200 bed on a platform, dressing area, dressing table and TV Bedroom 4 with 160 x 200 or 90 x 200 bed (foldable) with real mattresses, closet area and desk. The office on the ground floor will be closed, but you can find an office area in the khaki room upstairs There is the possibility to put a baby crib on request. There are therefore 4 "real" beds and 1 sofa/extra bed, the house is therefore ideal for 8 people (+ 2 additional children if we take into account the sofa bed). Note that the living room table only has 8 seats. Guest access If we are not on site, a key box will allow you to access the house. As my parents are our neighbors, they will be available for any request if needed. Other things to note The house is NON-SMOKING and with two cats on site, we do not accept pets. The outdoor driveway is not finished yet. You can park 4 cars easily (2 under the courtyard, 2 in the driveway) Having a nice (but fragile) white waxed concrete throughout the house, in order to keep the house as clean as possible during your stay but also to avoid damaging it, we ask you to remove your shoes. Thank you for understanding. Beds can be made upon arrival for a fee of 20 euros per bed. Bath towels are not provided. Guests will be required to leave the house in the clean condition found upon arrival. ⚠️ PLEASE NOTE: The cleaning fee of 70 euros is mandatory. This includes preparing the house for your arrival and a concierge visit after you leave, to check the condition of the house for the next guests. If the house is not returned clean, ready to be rented again, the sum of €100 will be requested via Aircover.
