Cefn Isa is a stunning luxury stone built converted barn. Built in the early 17th century with oak floorings, original wooden beams, and hand made oak doors, lovingly renovated to a high standard. Found in the heart of the Conwy valley in Tyn Y Groes minutes away from Eryri Snowdonia National Park Adventure capital of North Wales Conwy and Llandudno. You can expect a tranquil stay in the barn with plenty of natural beauty to explore. Inside Cefn Isa Barn you will find modern comforts and amenities designed to enhance your stay. The ground floor welcomes you in to a porch with antique bench. You will find a door leading into an open planned lounge kitchen area. Exposed beams mixed with antique pieces of furniture and modern pieces gives the Barn a really great feel mixing the old with the new. This will certainly be a place you can relax. This area provides a sociable entertaining space. The lounge has oak flooring a large comfortable sofa and extra chair along with a woodburning stove for the winter months. The lounge has a 50 Inch TV with freesat box allowing you access to all main channels. Plus Netflix and Prime Video. There is a step down into the kitchen area. It is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay. Back through the lounge area from the hall on the ground floor up two steps you will find a large double bedroom with French doors and a large bespoke en suite. The en suite suite is tiled with Welsh slate from the local area and boasts a bespoke walk in rain shower. The stone wash basin adds to the rooms authentic charm. This room has a 42 inch TV it does not have an aerial connection but you can access your Netflix account YouTube, or prime video account or other streaming services. Moving upstairs you will find a large bespoke family bathroom with a very large walking shower toilet and Jack and Jill basins on a victorian side board and towels ready for your convenience. The generous master bedroom boasts a super king sized bed. This room is beautifully decorated. It has twin aspect windows with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. One of the windows has a window seat with a view overlooking the stunning walled garden. In this room you will find a 42 inch TV it does not have an aerial connection but you can access your Netflix YouTube prime and other streaming services on it. You will also find a snuggle sofa to relax on especially if you like to read. The next bedroom is along the corridor and is a twin bedroom with matching twin sleigh beds. The room has its own charm all of its own, with views from the French doors overlooking the countryside. In this room you will find a velux window, with a roller blackout blind to ensure you get a great nights sleep. The room can accommodate two guests. We take immense pride in managing our converted barn for the letting season and are genuinely excited to welcome you to your very own unique luxury holiday home. Outside you will find a beautiful well kept garden with an outside sofa, parasol patio, garden table for you to enjoy lazy days in the sun. Within minutes in the car you can be exploring the medieval walled medieval town of Conwy with its imposing 13th Century castle. Or head into nearby Llandudno characterised by its long promenade lined with beautiful victorian buildings. We are close to Bodnant gardens and the Welsh food centre which has a well stocked farm shop selling local produce a cafe too where breakfast is highly recommended. In a few minutes down a quite country lane in Eglwysbach you will find the Bee traditional country pub that serves traditional local beers and tasty home cooked food 😋 Walkers and mountain bikers have lots of opportunities with routes heading up the Carneddau mountains as well as less strenuous paths along the river accessible direct from the doorstep. Llanberis and the slopes of Snowdon are about 15 minutes to the southwest and along the way you’ll past the longest zip line in the world at Bethesda and the world-renowned Plas Menai National Watersports center near Caernarfon. On the way back home, if you have some energy left, you might like to do some mountain biking on the Marian Trail in Betws Y Coed or perhaps spend a more relaxed afternoon strolling the magnificent grounds at Bodnant Gardens. If alfresco eating is your thing on the patio you will have access to a large table and chairs. The stunning enclosed garden has a few tastefully restored antique farm pieces found in the barn during it's conversion now restored as items of interest and garden planters. We are keen gardeners and the garden is kept to a very high standard for your enjoyment. When you arrive at the property you will need to take one gentle step to get you onto the patio one more to get you onto the next level of the patio and one more to get you to the front door. FAQS • Do you provide towels? Yes we provide 2 towels for each guest, a hand towel and medium towel, kitchen towels. • Is there a chance of an early check in? The cleaning team now offer an early check in at 1pm or a later check out at 12mid day. This service is offered by them and comes with an additional charge of £40 pounds to cover the extra maid that is required. So just message back if this is something that fits in with your budget or plans to make your stay in the barn last a little longer. Guests who don't want to pay for the early check in as an option are more than welcome to park up early and go for a walk into the countryside, or for a hot drink at the local tea room The Red lion which was once our local pub and has now been converted into a tea room. While the team prepare the cottage for check in after 3pm and will let you know if the cottage is ready any earlier. • Is there a chance of a late check out?  Check out is before 10am unless you have requested a late check out at 12mid day for the additional £40 • Is there an extra key?  We do not provide more than one key as we provide a lock box on the outside of the property, In that way there is always a key in a safe place at the home If you wish to leave the property. • How do we get the keys? We can meet and greet you at the property at your check in time and show you how everything works before handing you the keys if required If not the keys are in the lockbox, we will provide you with the code nearer to the check in time. • Do you have a travel cot?  Yes there is a travel cot and high chair and two safety gates for the stairs provided in the barn should they be required. Do send us a message. • Is the house private or shared with other guests? Yes the barn is private we definitely do not have guests sharing with other strangers and guests ! You have the entire house to yourself no sharing going on :) Please note that we live next door. Your privacy throughout your stay is one of our top priorities we ensure that you can enjoy your privacy without any interference. • Do you provide Condiments ? Salt, pepper, oil etc..? Yes we have all the basics you need to cook meals. • Do you have enough utensils, pots pans etc.. to prepare a meal? Yes we have everything you need to cook and prepare a meal, you just need to bring along yourself and the food! • Can we have visitors that are not staying over? In the aspects of health, safety, security and insurances we are only covered for the guests on the booking so unfortunately you wouldn't be able to have any visitors or extra guests in the barn at any time unless they are registered on the booking. • Can we stay in the garden after 10pm? Yes if you are not playing loud music and causing a nuisance. It's a special occasion, is there anything extra we can have at the home?  Yes please let us know if we can help you with your plans. We want to help you make some amazing memories during your stay at our home. Rules * Please read the entire description and these rules before booking to make sure it meets your needs and expectations and you fit into the criteria. * The barn is not a party house so please find another location if you wish to party. The barn is designed for those wanting to get away to relax and unwind. We can only accept couples or families.  * You should please ensure you leave the house the same way as you found it. * The barn is not permitted to accept groups of guests with the majority being under 21 * The lead booker must be 21+ * No noise/quiet times after 10pm. * Any excessive noise or music at any time inside or outside the property will lead to an instant termination. * Strictly no smoking or vaping in the barn. Please sit outside and use the ashtray provided. * No third party bookings, the registered main booker must be in attendance and must be present at check in. * We strongly advise all guests to take out holiday insurance as our cancellations policy is strict. Please make sure you read and agree with all cancellation policies and terms before booking. * No shoes hot drinks or red wine to be taken upstairs on the light coloured carpets please Thank you * No pets * No Candles  * The housekeepers will need full access at check out time so all homes must be fully vacated at 10am on the day of check out. * Please add all guest to the booking to get the full breakdown of the cost and for our registration/insurances policies. Only registered guests that are in the booking are permitted in the barn. * Our cleaning only covers basic cleaning, disinfecting, sanitising due to the size of the property. We appreciate guests leaving the home as tidy as possible, this includes washing all pots/glasses and pans, loading and switching on the dishwasher and any rubbish placed in bins for recycle. Any additional cleaning will incur extra charges of up to £200. Deep stained towels and bed linen will be charged extra for. * To cater for guest preferences we don't provide toiletries in the bathrooms.
