It's a rare opportunity to experience one of Sudbury's landmark historic homes. 📖 History Originally constructed between 1929 and 1930 for mining engineer Ralph Douglas Parker and his wife, Mina Bayne Todhunter, the home was inspired by the Spanish Colonial residences of Hollywood and Beverly Hills after Mina visited California during the Golden Age of cinema. In 1966, the home was acquired by Laurentian University and served for decades as the official residence of the university's presidents, hosting numerous dignitaries, community events, and distinguished guests. Today, the home has been thoughtfully restored, preserving its remarkable history while welcoming guests to experience one of Sudbury's most iconic historic homes.
