Nightjar Cottage

Nestled in the middle of 45 acres of woodland and pasture on the Walden Estate which are yours to walk and explore, yet just 4 miles from Salisbury, Nightjar Cottage is a spacious detached haven, with its own contained large garden and access to the tennis court in adjacent walled garden by reservation if not being used by the main house. Just 10 mins from Salisbury Cathedral, 10 mins to New Forest, 20 minutes to Peppa Pig World, 30 mins to Southampton or Stonehenge, 40 mins to Longleat. The space The cottage enjoys a spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area with a super king sized bedroom and bathroom above on the first floor, a second twin bedroom on the ground floor west side, an additional toilet room and a charming outdoor courtyard. The garden is securely dog fenced with beds on most sides and a sitting/eating area outside the french windows of the main reception room. Guest access In addition to Nightjar's own garden, guests can book the tennis court in the adjacent walled garden when it not being used by the main house. There are tennis balls available for the tennis court in the tennis hut. The wall garden facilities are primarily used by Walden House depending who is staying there. There are 45 acres of land around the cottage on the Walden Estate which you are welcome to walk and explore. Up to 2 dogs are allowed but, as we have 3 dogs of our own, please can they be restricted to the cottage and its garden when not out on a walk. No dogs are allowed in the walled garden.
