Description
NEW KITCHEN! Discover our unique Old Chapel retreat, nestled in the heart of Cornwall—an enchanting escape where history meets modern luxury. Enjoy your own private apartment with two stylish bedrooms, luxurious bathroom, lounge and kitchen, all designed to the highest standards. Centrally located, our Old Chapel is equidistant from Newquay's beaches, the North Coast, and the tranquil Roseland Peninsula. This central position allows you to effortlessly explore Cornwall's diverse landscapes. The space The rooms are a gentle mix of modernity and old fashioned charm. The renovations have been done extremely tastefully and to a high standard. The ceilings are very high and the floors are beautiful oak throughout. There is a large gravel driveway at the front of the Old Chapel with enough room for at least one car, if not two. We have recently installed a NEW KITCHEN with sink, fridge, twin induction hob, mini grill/oven, air fryer, microwave, toaster, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine and all the pans and utensils you will need to cook a fantastic meal. There is a day bed in the mezzanine lounge with a pull out trundle for an additional 2 guests if required. Guest access You have your own entrance hallway, staircase, mezzanine lounge, full kitchen, 2 bedrooms ( 1 double and 1 twin), and a large bathroom with freestanding bath and shower. There is a day bed in the mezzanine lounge with pull out trundle for additional 2 guests if required. The mezzanine lounge leads onto an open staircase, therefore, sadly this property is not suitable for young children. The owners live in the property in the downstairs apartment. You are completely private. You basically have the whole first floor to yourselves. Other things to note The very old and extremely large oak front door to the chapel requires a little knack to open. Insert the Yale lock key, pull the door towards you a little bit before turning and unlocking. USE THE YALE KEY AND DOOR KNOB TOGETHER TO OPEN Important note: The property has polished oak flooring throughout, it is very beautiful and although it is tough and can handle a good amount of foot traffic, we would appreciate if guests would REMOVE SHOES at the front door, so it can have as longer life as The Old Chapel itself has had... built in 1838.
