Padstow’s picturesque harbour and quaint town, with its famous restaurants and great pubs, is just a short downhill walk from the house. The “seven bays for seven days” and their golden beaches are all just a short drive or ferry ride away. Ground floor Entry via the front door brings you into a small hallway. To your left is a cloakroom/boot room where your portable barbecue awaits those balmy evenings for meals on the decking. The ground floor also comprises a living room with dining area and a well equipped kitchen. First floor The first floor comprises two good sized bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two singles, plus a recently refitted stylish bathroom and a small landing area. Cloakroom/Boot room Handy storage area for coats, boots, bags etc, leaving your living space free. This room also houses the combi boiler for central heating and hot water. Living Room A comfortable and relaxing living space with TV, wifi router and two 2-seater sofas, coffee table and relaxed lighting, and two windows providing natural light. The dining area to one end seats four guests. Kitchen Equipped with washing machine/drier, fridge freezer, electric oven and microwave, all self catering needs are here. We also provide a Tassimo coffee maker, toaster, slow pot and all standard utensils, plus a supply of basics such as salt, pepper, olive oil, spices and condiments. Stairway An attractive stairway with feature bannister leads directly from the living room to the first floor. Bathroom Completely redesigned and refurbished in late 2021, the bathroom is modern and stylish and presents a beautiful space with in-bath shower facility and heated towel rail. Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo and toilet rolls are provided. Bedroom (1) With views across open countryside and a partial view of the tidal estuary, bedroom (1) is a spacious area with comfortable bedding and ample storage for clothing. Bedside tables and a hair dryer are also provided. Bedroom (2) With two single beds and further ample storage for clothing, the second bedroom is the perfect spot for the rest of the family or a second couple. Outside Space A large south facing decking area provides the perfect spot for soaking up the sun or enjoying those summer evening barbecues. Outdoor furniture seating four guests is provided. Parking Oyster Cottage boasts a private parking space just a few steps from the front door, a rare benefit amongst Padstow properties. Guest access Entire property Other things to note Oyster Cottage is doggy friendly, for an additional cleaning fee of £30 per stay, up to a maximum of two dogs. To make your stay just that bit more comfortable, hand soaps, shower gel and shampoo are provided, gas and electricity are included within the price of your stay and all bed linen and towels are here for your use, you don’t have to worry about those things. The property is strictly non-smoking and access to the property is limited to paying guests only unless express permission is granted.
