The space Between the Lakes (90 Isis Lake) is situated off the main drive in a small cluster of lodges in a lawned area, set with mature specimen trees. There is a lake with fountain to the rear with a further lake facing the lodge. Take a leisurely walk around the development or take the path by the play area for a short walk to nearby South Cerney, with a choice of pubs, local shops and services. As the Roman Corinium it became the second largest Roman town in Britain. Discover the history and treasures of Cirencester at the Corinium museum or, just a street away, pay a visit to St John the Baptist, the largest of the areas ‘Wool’ churches. Cirencester is a lively town with outdoor and indoor marketplaces and a great range of independent shops and vibrant cafés and places to eat. Away from the towns there is plenty to explore; the glorious gardens at Hidcote, Snowshill and Kiftsgate to name but three, the Farm and Wildlife Parks and the wonderful walking at Cirencester Park, on Minchinhampton Common and in the Windrush Valley and easy access to the A419 makes the lakes an excellent base if you want to explore further afield.
