Push open the heavy iron door and enter Fahnestock House! We're here to provide more than just a place to sleep. High ceilings, large windows, lime-washed walls and furnishings collected over time. Simple, but luxurious. The space Enjoy a leisurely cup of nespresso in bed while the morning sun streams through the floor to ceiling windows. Step into the spacious bathroom and enjoy the marble tile under your feet. Take your time in the luxurious shower. There’s no rush - and there’s even room for two! This is a large and spacious suite with King size bed, large sitting area with tv, coffee bar and mini fridge, floor to ceiling windows, 9 ft full length mirror, and large bathroom with a completely custom glass and brass shower. It is a truly unique space. This is a downtown location - there will be street noise and we also have other guests in the house. We strive to be respectful of one another, but understand that noise will happen! Parking is on the street and detailed instructions are sent before check in. It is free every night after 6 and on the weekends. Guest access Guests enter through the large iron front doors and use the common hallway to access their unit. The set up is very similar to an apartment building. This is a second floor suite, so guests will need to climb stairs. Other things to note Street parking in front of the house is free all weekend long and 6pm - 8am weekdays. It is metered parking during the weekdays at the rate of $1.50/hour. Some of the nearby side streets(Lemon and Lime) have free parking and would be available anytime. The TV does not have an antennae, meaning it can only be used with the bluray player to watch movies on dvd or through netflix and other apps. Guests will have access to our netflix account using a guest profile.
