Our beautiful Green Guinevere Hut sits secluded at the base of historic Pentrusco Oak Wood, with views through leafy branches, of endless green hills and valleys. Private gated access leads up to Guinevere's picturesque setting where you can relax and soak in this lovely romantic spot in nature. Here dark skies are full of stars and nothing is more relaxing than sitting by the authentic sunken fire/cooking pit with a glass in hand, watching the sun go down and the stars appear in the night sky. The space Inside you'll discover a hut full of luxury, with king sized bed, log burning stove, underfloor heating, sheep's wool insulation, oak doors/worktop/windows, kitchen and en-suite shower/WC. Private onward access from just outside the hut, allows you to ascend through and above the wood to the hill summit at circa 1000ft with wonderful elevated views. We have 100 acres of fields and woods around the hut for you to explore (an outline map will be in the hut for you) Local Walking Routes - include Offa’s Dyke Path, Glyndwyr’s Way and on your doorstep, a circular route to Knucklas Castle Mound (a superb spot to take in the sunrise) Local Pub – 10 minutes stroll – The Castle Inn Knucklas, serving superb traditional and Thai cuisine (open Friday and Saturdays for diners only, please book in advance) Local Shops – 5 minute drive Local Towns – Historic Ludlow (30 minutes drive), Hereford (1 hr), Shrewsbury (1hr) OTHER LOCAL ACTIVITIES include: Clay Pigeon Shooting (Griffin Lloyd 2.7m), Ralley Driving (Phil Price 1.9m), Horse riding (Underhill 5.8m), Golf (3m), and various Cycling options.
