Excellent restaurants, a coffee shop, and art galleries are just around the corner. The Plains and nearby Middleburg are the center for equestrian events and vineyards in Northern Virginia. The cottage and garden offer guests a relaxing respite. Every detail has been considered with comfort, cleanliness and charm in mind. The space The large kitchen, with a table for four, is well-equipped for cooking and baking. There is also a cozy seating area in the kitchen corner. The bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed with luxury bedding, comfortable chair, wall-mounted TV, clothes hanging rack, and two luggage racks. The spacious, bright bathroom is outfitted with a 4-foot shower featuring glass doors and rain shower head, and a heated towel rack. There is seating in the tree-canopied garden for relaxing and dining. There is another 19th century house on this property which is also a guest house, The Garden House (listed separately on Airbnb). The cottage and the house share a front yard. The other house has a backyard with seating on the deck. When both houses are occupied, you have priority to the table and chairs in the front yard just outside your door. There is ample private parking. Wi-fi service is provided.
