Welcome to Milo’s guesthouse, formerly The Bright Morning Inn! Conveniently stay above one of the most popular restaurants right in Davis! Wake up and head to breakfast without even leaving the building. Have a cocktail at the bar without needing to drive. The space This quiet and cozy room contains our beautiful antique sleigh bed with a Queen size mattress. It faces our side flower garden and is at the top of the stairs. The new colors and beautiful new rug highlight the sleigh bed and original floors wonderfully. Bathrooms: 1 , Sleeps: 2 Guest access Guests have access to their room, and the guest comfort station in the hall. The comfort station provides microwave, mini fridge, keurig coffee, creamer and sugar. Guests may access the restaurant and bar during restaurant hours. During the warm months the garden is available for lounging. Other things to note What It's Like to Stay in a 19th Century Building Our building is over 100 years old! The hardwood floors in our guest rooms are original from 1896, which means limited noise insulation between floors. Our full-service restaurant, downstairs, operates 7 nights a week, and may be open as late as 10pm weekdays or 11pm weekends. If you are a light sleeper, we provide earplugs at the coffee station located between Room 1 and 3. We do encourage guests to end their evening with us and a drink at the bar before they retire to their rooms! The rooms are located on the second floor of the building, which is only accessible by stairs. All rooms were fully renovated in 2021 and have private bathrooms with showers. Each room now boasts its own unique design theme and rich colors that complement the original exposed wood floors.
