A peaceful haven with 2 independent houses overlooking a long enclosed garden that extends to the Seine, with access to the river (which remains public) and the possibility of swimming, boating and paddleboarding. Heated pool, ping pong and games are available in the garden, where you can enjoy meals cooked with the plancha. A paradise for young and old! Inside you can spend friendly evenings around the fireplace and practice your piano. The space ***Accommodation composition*** 2 separate houses overlooking the garden that can accommodate 8 adults and 3 children 1) In the first house you will find On the ground floor - Large living room with fireplace and piano - Open kitchen - Dining room on the veranda. Just outside the veranda is a table where you can enjoy meals outdoors on sunny days. - TV room with sofa. This space is ideal for children who can enjoy the board games available without being too far from parents :) - Laundry room with toilet Upstairs - Double bedroom - Bathroom with bath and toilet - Single bed on the mezzanine 2) In the 2nd house On the ground floor - Double bedroom - Another double bedroom overlooking the pool - Bathroom with shower and toilet Upstairs (slightly steep staircase) - Bedroom with a double bed and a single bed - Children's dormitory with bunk beds and many games The bedroom is open to the dormitory, ideal for a family. The staircase can be secured by the barrier available on site at the top of the stairs. Linens and towels are provided, as in all Idylliq properties. (Note: pool towel not provided) ***For families*** The children won't know where to turn! Outside are ping pong, swing, soccer goals, balls, molkky while the interior has board games, toys and books. The above-ground swimming pool is available and heated from June to September, the exact opening/closing dates depending on the weather. Dimensions 5.5 m x 2.75 m x 1.2 m Garden furniture, a plancha and a large outdoor table will allow you to enjoy your meals together outdoors On the banks of the Seine, a garden table is available for your lunches, dinners and aperitifs. An ideal location to admire nature at any time of day and indulge in fishing if you feel like it. It is possible to swim in the Seine! In summer, temperatures reach more than 20 degrees, and you have a boat and paddleboard on site. Buoyancy vests are also available. [Use and swim at your own risk] ***Infants and toddlers*** Baby bed and high chair available Access from the garden to the Seine is secured by 2 successive fences. ***In the surrounding area*** At the end of the garden, enjoy a bucolic walk accessible to all on the towpath. You can discover the old mill, the fields, the forest or on the other side, head to the village by walking along the banks of the Seine where swans and ducks reign. In the heart of the charming village of Muids, the Café de la Poste welcomes you (less than a 10-minute walk) for a drink, to buy a newspaper, bread, your fruits and vegetables or something to make your meals... For a stay without a car! Every Saturday morning there is a large market in the Place des Andelys (15 min) with all the necessities. And every Sunday morning, you can stock up at the small market of Saint Pierre du Vauvray (market gardener, fishmonger, cheese and small café 7 minutes away by car). The butcher shop and bakery are also open (orders possible). Muids is a small village where life is good, with regular entertainment: flea market in May or June depending on the year, flea market in August, Les Foulées d'Automne (running) and regularly: Concerts in the church or at the Café de la Poste... inquire on site or on the municipality's website. Giverny and Château-Gaillard are about 30 minutes away, Rouen 45 minutes away Guest access You have access to the entire property: the 2 houses, the pool (in season), the garden. Swimming in the Seine, the use of the boat and paddle are at your own risk. In winter, our houses are heated between 19°C and 21°C for your comfort and to preserve the environment.
