Located on Grays Cove in the Gulf of Maine, the cottage sits on a tidal waterfront with a dramatic 13‑foot tide shift. At low tide the cove is mudflats; at high tide the water comes right up to the shore. For safety, please do not attempt to cross the mudflats to the island—it's extremely easy to get stuck.
