Just a few blocks from the South Shore of Lake Michigan, is our charming Bay View home. It offers the perfect combination of suburban tranquility with city convenience, and just steps away from parks and dining. Relax out back in our fenced in Zen garden or stay inside and enjoy the three season room overlooking the garden. Besides having new appliances, the home also has new furniture, pull-out sofa, murphy bed and a futon on the porch. Come, relax, and enjoy. The space If you’re looking for a tranquil, cozy place, you’ve found it. The neighborhood is listed as one of the safest areas in Milwaukee to live. It’s peaceful, you’ll never need to worry about walking from our house to the park or a few more blocks to South Shore along Lake Michigan. When you walk in the front door, the dining room is on the right and the living room is to the left. It has plenty of natural light. In the living room, the new couch pulls out to a full size bed. There is a TV in the room, toys and games in the cabinet. You’ll also find travel books, novels and children’s books as well. If you plan on hitting the beach, just look inside the closet off the living room and you’ll find a cooler, a beach bag with towels, as well as beach chairs. As you continue on, you’ll walk through the kitchen, which has a new cooktop, full size fridge and other new appliances. The master bedroom is across from the kitchen. It has a queen bed, a dresser, a walk-in closet and a TV. When you continue on, you go down a few steps where you will see a new Murphy bed and another TV. The full bathroom is there as well. The laundry room is just past the TV in the utility room. The washer and dryer are like new. We also have a beautiful screened in porch with a couch and hanging chair. There is also an exercise bike and yoga mat available if you need to squeeze in a quick work out. Step out the porch door to our quaint, fenced in zen garden that includes stepping stones, flower beds, a bench and rope lighting for a beautiful evening experience. The patio area includes a table and chairs with an umbrella as well as a charcoal grill with charcoal and lighter fluid available to use. There is a place to pull in and park so you don’t have to be on the street but there is plenty of parking in front of the house as well but you will need a temporary parking permit if you plan on parking on the street overnight. It is a very friendly neighborhood so you can feel secure about staying in our house. Guest access All areas of the property are accessible except for the yellow storage shed. In the winter, the 3-season room should remain closed until warmer weather. Other things to note In back of the house, follow the stepping stones to the Zen garden. In the summer, it’s full of flowers and Lambs Ear as well as butterflies. Since the whole backyard is fenced-in, you’ll have complete privacy, while enjoying the natural beauty. There is a little yellow garden shed, which is where we keep our supplies for the property. It gives the backyard even more character and charm. You can walk out the back gate to your vehicle, if you decide not to go back in through the house. You’ll appreciate having off-street parking right next to the house. Close parking makes it a quick trip into the house with your bags. If you plan on parking on the street overnight, you will need a temporary parking permit, which you can get after you register your vehicle with the City of Milwaukee. Our house is just 2 blocks from Ellen Park and a few more to Humboldt Park. We are 3 blocks from Walgreens and Pizza Hut and 5 blocks from Starbucks. The South Shore of Lake Michigan is just an 8 block walk. You’ll find our home to be very close to many area attractions.
