Get together with family, friends or colleagues in this renovated former sheepfold with a spacious garden for beautiful moments ahead. The cottage is 10 minutes from Saint Quentin (where there is a train station, shops, etc.) and 5 minutes from the A26 motorway exit. A car is necessary for shopping and sightseeing. Beds made upon arrival, towels provided, cleaning included. No Smoking House The space The cottage is a large, spacious house of 180 m² that can accommodate 8 people thanks to its 4 bedrooms. It has a private garden. A folding baby crib, 1 high chair and a changing table are available if needed. So there can be one additional baby under 2 years old. On the ground floor, the entrance leads you to the large L-shaped living room. On one side, you'll find the large lounge, and on the other, the dining room with a large table for sharing your meals. You will love its bay window with garden views. To your right as you enter is a bedroom with glass walls (large blackout curtains) with 1 160 x 200 cm bed (50 cm of space on each side of the bed). After the large living room, you will find the spacious kitchen with everything you need to cook, 2 dish towels and 1 hand towel, and basic cooking and cleaning products. It is separated by a hallway with access to the first bathroom with a large shower, a washing machine, a dryer, and everything you need for laundry and ironing. High-quality shower gel/shampoo is provided. There is a separate toilet. A large, wide spiral staircase leads up to the mezzanine (desk, children's games, small relaxation lounge, Wi-Fi box). There is a large bathroom with bathtub (hand shower in the bathtub) and toilet. 1 large blue bedroom with garden view with 2 beds measuring 90 cm x 200 cm that I can push together to form a king-size bed. Another bedroom has a bed measuring 160 cm x 200 cm, and a fourth bedroom has two beds measuring 80 cm x 200 cm that can be pushed together to form 1 large queen-size bed before your arrival, upon request. All beds are made upon arrival with high-quality cotton linen. You will have one bath towel and one hand towel per person, and one bath mat per bathroom. Books (in French and a few in English), board games and other small outdoor games are available. Let's not forget the flower garden with its table for 8 people, its parasol, several sun loungers and the barbecue available (charcoal not included). The village has a playground located 300 meters from the house. There, you will find a handball court, a basketball court, a pétanque court, a small bike track for children, and a small slide for little ones. The cottage is a good base from which to explore our Aisne department and its surroundings. A car is needed for shopping (10 minutes away) and sightseeing. Paris Gare du Nord is 1 hour and 40 minutes by train from Saint-Quentin train station. The cottage is a detached house at the entrance to our farm (cereal and beet crops). A parking space at the entrance to the cottage and a large enclosed garage for 2 or 3 cars. Guest access I will welcome you on arrival to give you some information about the accommodation. There is also the possibility of self check-in using a lockbox, depending on the check-in times. The enclosed garage is for 2 vehicles. One outdoor parking space in the courtyard in front of the house is available. (It is important to park as close as possible to the wooden fence) so as not to obstruct the entrance to the farmhouse. If you need additional parking spaces, you can park on the street in front of the house. Quiet village of 650 inhabitants, close to Saint-Quentin (10 minutes). Restaurant, shops, tours, activities. Saint-Quentin Sud highway exit 5 minutes away on the A26. Supermarket 10 minutes away Bakery in the next village. Tourism. To discover in the department: Saint-Quentin, an Art Deco town, its Parc d'Isle, and its museums. Laon, the crowned and medieval city; the Chemin des Dames; the Saint-Gobain Forest; the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française at Villers-Cotterêts Castle; the Hottée du Diable; the Familistère de Guise; the Circuit des Églises Fortifiées de Thiérache.
