Description
Stay in the peaceful Wilhelmshöjd log barracks, built in the 1890s for ironworks families. Today the house is a home of culture and creativity in an idyllic artisan village, where you can sense the unique atmosphere. Guests stay in the local family’s other apartment, fully private and separated by a locked door. Within walking distance: museums, boutiques, restaurants, galleries, swimming spots, an arboretum trail and forest paths. Grocery store 200 m, free parking for 1–2 cars. The space Enjoy a private entrance and full access to the entire house. On the ground floor, you’ll find a bathroom with a toilet and a well-equipped kitchen featuring a table for four and six chairs. Upstairs, there are three cozy rooms, each with two single beds. One of the rooms is located in the landing area and is separated by a lace curtain. The landing also offers a sofa, an armchair, and additional seating. Please note, there is no bathroom upstairs, and the house does not have a TV. The apartment is approximately 125 m². Outside, you’ll find seating for eight, perfect for enjoying meals outdoors. The evening sun fills the yard with a warm, cozy glow, and in the mornings, a rooster crows in the neighborhood. One upstairs room and one ground-floor room next to the toilet are locked and not accessible to guests. Please note that the apartment is also home to two cats when not booked, so it may not be ideal for guests with severe cat allergies. Guest access You will have access to the entire apartment as well as the front yard furniture. One private room and a small closet upstairs, as well as another space downstairs, are not accessible. Their doors are secured with both a regular lock and a padlock. The back and side yards are private.
