Our humanitarian association Mama Africa offers you to rent one of its three rooms, here the charming Wolof Room. Features of the Wolof Room: It is a room with a total area of 30 m² with a private shower room and toilet (hot water with water reserve). It offers ocean views. Beds and windows are equipped with mosquito nets. The comfortable bedding consists of a king size bed and two 90 cm beds available upon request. Internet access is available throughout the house. Breakfast is available for 1500 FCFA (€2.30). Please let us know the day before. Common Spaces: Our kitchen is shared. It is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, kettle, dishes, etc. Relax in one of our outdoor lounges or in the closed lounge, perfect for chatting or relaxing by reading books from our library or playing games that are available. Laundry service is available upon request. Location: Keur Mama Africa is located in the fishing district, certainly one of the most photographed places in Senegal. Our house is 50 meters from the beach and 3 km from the city center. It is in a quiet and relaxing setting where you can listen to the waves of the ocean while contemplating a beautiful sunset. It is also a lively area, admittedly sometimes a little noisy, but where you can experience Senegalese authenticity with all its children playing or regularly its traditional ceremonies (baptisms, weddings, religious holidays). Accessibility: Downtown is 10 minutes by clando (local taxi type) or bus, for only €0.15. On foot, you can also reach the city center by crossing the lively fishing district, or quietly along the beach. Additional Activities and Services: We can connect you with friendly locals and guides for various activities, such as visiting Djoudj Park, Langue de Barbarie, organizing a bike ride, and more. We can also plan a beach barbecue and dance to the sound of djembes. If you wish, a safe and serious driver can provide your transfers to/from the airport as well as your trips throughout Senegal. Help with the implementation of our Humanitarian projects: By staying at Keur Mama Africa, you will directly contribute to our humanitarian projects. No profit is taken from rentals.
