Field Hall, as appeared in Gentleman Jack

Field Hall is one of Calderdale's finest houses and only now is opening it's doors to welcome guests for the first time. This stunning Georgian 18th Century mansion with it's many original features takes you back in time and as if you've just stepped onto a movie set. In fact the house was used in the award winning Gentleman Jack TV series and the whole cast spent several days in the house. The space The house offers 2 adjoining double bedrooms, one with large four poster bed, and both offer views of the gardens and across the whole of the valley. There is a huge private bathroom adjacent featuring double basins, roll top slipper bath and extra large walk in shower. A luxurious space for relaxation. You will have access to the modern kitchen and your host would be more than happy to provide a full tour of the house, and is able to provide local information including bars, restaurants and taxi services. The location is a short drive from several towns and villages in Calderdale including the 14th Century Bridge Inn in Ripponden which is 1 mile away, and the Michellin recommended Engine Dining. Unfortunately, due to the age of the house and the furniture it is not suitable for children. There is an open staircase and a number of heavy antiques, to be safe we request that children are not guests at the property. We hope that you understand.
