You can chill or get your groove on in this unique and spacious 70's themed apartment that is located above our early 1900's Hardware Store and Gift Shop. Please read all the information before booking. Thank you! The space The Cool Cat is located above our early 1900's operating Hardware Store and Gift Shop. The 70's themed apartment has two bedrooms with walk in closets, a fully stocked Kitchen and dining space, a full Bathroom and a spacious Livingroom. Our business is in operation six days a week, so you can expect to hear the brass shop bells ring as customers enter and exit our store. Located in the village of Hamden, The Cool Cat is located within a 30 mile radius of nearby state parks which offer hiking, fishing, boating, hunting, kayaking, bicycle trails, and more. Guest access Guests have access to the full apartment. Please do not hesitate to come into the store to visit, or shop. We have many antiques and Hamden memorabilia on display. Other things to note **PLEASE LOOK AT CHECK IN TIMES. We prefer you to check in during business hours but understand this is not always possible. IF POSSIBLE, please try to check in no later THAN 9 PM. If you need other arrangements, please ask. WE DO NOT LIVE ON SITE AND MUST MEET YOU AT THE STORE TO CHECK YOU IN. We are pet friendly in the apartment and store. ONE pet is permitted to join you during your stay at The Cool Cat. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the space for you. It is a unique space that has been decorated with Vintage items to help you experience/relive the 70's. In the evenings, you can play records, play games, read, etc. If you want to watch TV or spend time on your computer there is accessible wi-fi in the apartment. No smoking permitted in the building. No handicap access. The Cool Cat is located on the second floor and requires you to climb two flights of stairs to access the apartment. **Please watch children closely due to the stairs.** Emergency roll down ladders are provided in case of fire.
