The space Alpine Abode is a beautiful, well-appointed, modern cabin outfitted with all the necessary amenities and more. Kitchen: Fully stocked, ready for warming up some takeout, or cooking up a four-course meal. Living room: A cheerful living room furnished with a leather couth, a 42" TV, ready to play your favorite movies and shows with Netflix or Paramount +, and gorgeous panoramic windows that give you an incredible connection to the expanse of nature surrounding the mountain. Plus plenty of blankets just in case you want to snuggle in! Bedroom: A master-sized bedroom with a comfortable king bed fitted with hotel-style fresh linens and pillows. Bathroom: A gorgeous, bright bathroom stocked with fresh towels, bathrobes, and plenty of shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner, with two options for cleaning up: a soaking tub or a two-person shower. Deck: A large, private deck with two wicker-egg chairs for resting and reading, a propane grill for any of your grilling needs, and of course, a hot tub, fresh and hot for every stay, perfect for dipping in during cold nights and mornings. Outside area: A firepit area with four Adirondack chairs, with free firewood available close by. Guest access Guests will have the entirety of the cabin to themselves, including the deck, an outside area surrounding the cabin, and the parking spot. Guests are welcome to walk around the property, enjoy the walking trail, and use the other common yard areas as desired, with respect to other guests, of course. Other things to note Alpine Abode is one of five cabins located on top of Heartwood Mountain, a beautiful local ridgeline overlooking the local forest and game lands of the PA Wilds. Keep in mind that although each cabin has privacy from the others, you will have neighbors, though this will in no way detract from your nature experience. Pet fees must be paid prior to arrival and indicated on the reservation details. Thank you! WINTERTIME: Please note that 4WD/AWD is highly recommended during the winter months (December-March). During heavy snowstorms or ice on the roads - 4WD/AWD is required. While we do plow and salt the roads, they can still be difficult to traverse using a regular vehicle, especially if we have had a lot of snow. Use caution.
