Make some memories at this family-friendly, historical homestead. HERITAGE SUITE is 1 of 4 private suites within Homestead House It has own keyed locks & only you have access to it. It includes a living area with a large table, hide-a-bed couch & rocker as well as a bedroom & bathroom with a shower & walk in closet. there are 3 steps to enter it. The SHARED areas, large Kitchen, large living, & yard are for all guests. THERE MAY BE OTHER SUITES BOOKED at the SAME TIME as YOU. The space Heritage Suite is 1 of 4 suites in Homestead house where your can experience a part of early Oklahoma History with the original house built just after the land run. It has had additions and upgrades over the years & is now over 4,000 square feet. Each suite has keyed locks and it's own private bathroom. In the photo tour for this suite, living room 1 & dining room 1 are in your private suite. If you need more space, take a look at my other Suites & you can book any of them also, or the whole house! Private message me for a multiple suite discount. Heritage suite has a king bed in the private bedroom, hide-a-bed sofa in your living area. A twin roll away bed is available for a $15 fee. IT IS LOCATED: 5 miles to Firelake grocery, arena, ball fields, covered play area for kids, walking trail, and bowling alley. 7.6 miles to the heart of Oklahoma Exposition center. 8 miles to Oklahoma Baptist University. 39 miles to Bricktown OKC, Myriad Botanical Gardens, & OKC Thunder Paycom center. 32 miles to Oklahoma University Guests share a large country kitchen with plenty of counter space, a double oven, 5 burner cooktop, coffee bar, dishwasher, & refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker. It also has 2 microwaves, & toaster oven. It is stocked with dishes, silverware, pots & pans, baking pans, cookie sheets, & the utensils for baking & cooking. It also has a crockpot, rice maker, a blender and small food processor, Make use of the shared kitchen that is stocked with decaf and regular coffee, Hot Chocolate mix, flour, sugar, sweetners, powdered creamer, salt, pepper, garlic salt, Seasoned salt, chili powder, garlic powder & basil. The very large living and game room is also shared with other guests. The large house has a 1/2 acre yard which is available for guests. There are 35 open acres around it with one house, not available to guests, but allows for privacy and the relaxed country feel. The yard is fenced on 3 sides . The area around the 40 acres has open land and houses on large acreages. You can relax and enjoy the countryside where the stars look brighter. It includes a large pavilion with 2 tables and chairs. A propane grill is available for use or you can roast marshmallows and hotdogs over the fire pit. Expandable roaster sticks are in a black bag in the utility room along with a lighter & some boxes & paper to help get the fire going (unless a burn ban is in effect). Children are welcome, but will need to be supervised outside as there are ponds beyond the fence and the entrance from the road is not gated. Guest access Only Heritage Suite Guests have access to their suite (private living/dining, bedroom, bathroom). Heritage Suite Guests also have access to the kitchen, living room and large yard with pavilion and firepit which are shared with other booked guests. Other things to note If you need more room than Heritage Suite has, check out my other listings: Homestead Suite, Country Suite, & Ranchers Suite. You can also rent the whole house listed as Homestead House. Some events are allowed, but need to be pre-approved to make sure the space & other bookings will accommodate them. You have private use of your rented suites and shared use of the kitchen, large living, and outside grounds. Each suite has its own different key & no one else can access your suite. There are 4 suites and there may be guests from other suites present at the same time as you.
