Other things to note The road to the house is privately maintained and can be covered with up to a few inches of snow between plowings. 4-wheel drive is recommended. Please drive slowly. There is a wood burning fireplace. We provide Duraflame logs to burn, please do not burn anything else (wood, paper, etc). We can help instruct you with this if needed. Please do not attempt without instruction if you've never started a fire in an interior fireplace! We can help! Unauthorized guests, parties and pets are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property. Reservations may be terminated immediately if violated. Camping is prohibited anywhere on the property, regardless of whether it's in a tent or a vehicle. Any unregistered guests who stay overnight will be considered trespassers and may result in immediate termination of reservation. There are a few other homes on this road. Children must be carefully supervised by an adult at all times when near the water and when using the boats. If you use the boats, we require the use of life jackets which we provide for you. For insurance reasons, the boats are for use ONLY by registered guests, NOT visitors. Because the water at the end of the dock is shallow, no diving or jumping off the dock is allowed. Children must be carefully supervised by an adult at all times in the fire pit area when there is a fire burning or while there are still hot embers present.
