The space Experience comfort and rustic charm in this spacious 1880s log cabin, thoughtfully designed to accommodate up to six guests. The lower level features a private primary bedroom with a plush king-size bed and a full bathroom on the same floor. The main level offers a welcoming living area with a wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and a separate dining room that also includes a dedicated office workspace — perfect for remote work. Upstairs, the loft-style second bedroom includes a queen bed, and a twin bed with a pull-out trundle, ideal for families or small groups. Stay connected with Starlink high-speed internet, making remote work or streaming easy while you relax in the peaceful countryside. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin and the surrounding 7.6 acres during their stay, including a scenic walking trail (in winter it’s a snowshoe trail — bring your own snowshoes). Explore the gardens and keep an eye out for our bee hives, which provide fresh, delicious honey. Please note that winter maintenance is not provided for the fire-pit area or garden trails. The main entrance to the cabin is via the large deck on the right side of the property. This property does not have an accessible entrance. Other things to note The Master Bedroom and Bathroom are on the lower level of the Cabin. In the winter months the roads can get quite slick. Winter tires are a must and 4x4 is recommended. Also something to keep in mind when staying at properties that are rustic in nature, like this 1880’s log cabin. We do ask guests not to leave any food/dirty dishes on the kitchen counters. We do not want to encourage any unwanted guests from the garden to join you during your stay. We do have pest control in place on a regular basis to minimize this type of occurrence.
