Other things to note ARRIVAL The keys are handed over directly at your chalet. There is a lockbox on the handle of the main door of your chalet. A unique code is sent to you. LEAVING, CHECKING OUT You must leave the chalet before 11 a.m. and put the key back in the lockbox on the main door handle. A penalty will automatically be charged if the chalet is not vacated at the agreed time. Any breakage of equipment or defect noticed in your unit must be reported to us during or at the end of your stay. To this end, at the time of your departure, we will be pleased to hear your comments on your "Chalets le Grand Chêne" experience. We are constantly evolving and want to constantly improve our offer of cottages, your advice is valuable to us. MAINTENANCE DURING THE STAY AND FOR YOUR DEPARTURE During your stay, the maintenance of the cottage is the responsibility of your group. Here's what we ask you to check at the time of your departure: • Put used towels and linens in the shower. • Do not make the beds used. • Leave the refrigerator empty and clean. • Clean the BBQ. • Leave broken or uncleanable items on the kitchen counter. • Collect all waste and recycling and place them in the outside bins. • Leave the floors clean (vacuum cleaner recommended). • Clean dishes. • Do not throw away the plastic containers of household products provided by Les Chalets Grand Chêne (We collect them). If these points are not respected, additional charges may apply. TOWELS AND BEDDING Sheets, blankets, pillows, bath towels, hand towels and washcloths are provided depending on the number of people the cottage can accommodate. In case your unit is equipped with a Spa, don't forget to bring extra large bath towels. INTERNET Internet is available in all our units. The Wi-Fi code is written in the useful information guide in your chalet or directly on the internet router. OTHER IMPORTANT TIPS DURING THE STAY Please let us know if any device is malfunctioning or if you have any problems with our facilities. We will do everything we can to find a solution. Your well-being is important to us. THIS IS YOUR NOTICE Failure to comply with these rules may result in additional charges. The penalty is fixed according to the case. It is strictly forbidden to: • Make noise in such a way as to annoy the neighbors at any time, this regulation is reinforced by a curfew at 11 p.m. A complaint that requires compensation to the complainant will be at your expense, this is your notice. • Leave glass containers outside the chalet. • Disconnect, modify, any electronic device or electronic connection. • Smoke inside the building. $300 fine • Parking on the streets (Avenue de Gaspé Ouest). • Install a tent, tent-trailer, trailer, RV, marquee, inflatable game or any other item of these categories on the grounds of the chalets. • Light FIREWORKS and/or FLYING LANTERNS (sky lantern). CLEANING PRODUCTS Hand and dish soap as well as toilet paper, green and white bags are provided in sufficient quantity to allow you to start your stay. However, these items are not replaced during your stay and you may run out of them. So depending on the number of people and the use made of them, plan for these products in your luggage. The following items are not included: Personal soaps, paper towels TRASH AND RECYCLING 2 large bins are located near Route 132: FIREPLACE AND WOOD Campfires are allowed on the beach. A limited amount of firewood is available during the period between Thanksgiving and Easter inclusive. We ask that you make reasonable use of it for mood lighting only. You can also take the wood you find on the shore to make your fires. If your chalet is equipped with a pellet fireplace, a sufficient amount of pellets is available to you. To light the fire in the pellet stove, please consult the user guide in your chalet for more details. ANIMALS Pets are allowed in the chalets ($55 + tx per pet for the total duration of the stay). Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside so as not to disturb guests in other chalets. Their waste must be picked up without exception. Pets are not allowed to climb on the furniture (sofa & beds) and the broom must be used in the chalet to facilitate cleaning. If these regulations are not followed, additional charges may apply.
