Gite Lagarto, pets welcome

Here is our gîte located in Vadencourt in the Aisne, a small village crossed by the Euro Velo 3. Many walks are available to you as well as many visits and activities in Thiérache, in the Aisne but also the Hauts de France or Belgium. All pets are welcome. The space Our cottage is composed of the following on the ground floor: - a spacious entrance - bathroom with toilet and shower - a living room with sofa and electric recliner leather armchair - and a fully equipped kitchen with a staircase leading to the upper floor Upstairs you will find: - a landing with a workspace, desk - a master bedroom with a large 180x200 bed as well as a wooden baby bed (70x140) - A large bedroom with two 160 × 200 cm beds and toys for the kids. The rooms are attic-style with exposed beams, which gives them incredible charm! Taller people may need to duck their heads to get through doors or under beams. Wall-mounted air conditioning has been installed in the large bedroom since July 2026. Cars can park on the street along the sidewalk, and you enter the property through a gate that gives you access to a cobblestone driveway leading to the accommodation, as well as to a staircase that leads down to the garden. The garden, measuring approximately 400 m², is fenced to a height of 1.80 m and borders the Oise River. You will find a basement where the garden furniture, barbecue, etc., are stored, as well as a small terrace where you can enjoy your meals in peace. All pets are welcome as long as they don't cause any damage. An Intex above-ground pool, 4.50 m in diameter and 1.20 m deep, is installed and heated to 28 degrees in summer on sunny days. The road that passes in front of the house can seem a little noisy for people sensitive to vehicle noise even if we are very far from the nuisance of a highway or big cities. Other things to note The phone network is a bit temperamental at our place; only the Orange network works properly. Following numerous abuses, the end-of-stay cleaning is charged at 150 euros and will be refunded via the site if the cleaning is done, even if it is not totally perfect, as we always clean a second time.
