Welcome to Clyde, NY! Our 3 bedroom, upstairs apartment puts you smack dab in the middle of the beautiful Finger Lakes Region. See below for a list of local attractions and entertainment! The space Welcome to Clyde on the Erie! This is a private, 3 bedroom, 2nd floor apartment. You have the entire apartment to yourself, with no shared spaces with anyone not in your reservation. There is a smart TV in the living room that you can use to sign into any services you have such as Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. Please be sure to log out of those before checking out. AC window units are installed in June. I am required to provide heat until May 31st so they are installed after that. Guest access This an apartment on the 2nd floor, as such there is one flight of stairs, with 20 steps to get up to the 2nd floor. On street parking is limited to 2 hours. Overnight parking is available in the parking lot immediately across the street from the apartment. You will be able to see your vehicle/s from the apartment. I take care of all of the trash, please do not use the dumpster behind the building. Trash can be put outside the door at the top of the stairs. If it needs to be picked up before you check out, please let me know. Other things to note Welcome to Clyde, NY! This little village is right on the historic Erie Canal, just minutes from the NYS Thruway. This quaint community was awarded a NYS designation of an Empire State Trail Town in April, 2025. “Clyde is a vibrant trail town, inviting cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts to stop and explore. The trail runs directly through the downtown that boasts a charming village park and popular food and drink options like ice cream, pizza, and diner fare.” -Fingerlakes Times We love Westside Fuel for any meal, as well as The Landing. To the North we have Sodus Bay, a beautiful village on the shores of Lake Ontario. To the East of that you'll find Sterling which is home to the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Just 8 minutes South of Clyde is Del Lago Casino. The casino is the perfect place to catch a live show, go to the spa, etc. A few miles West of the casino there are the Finger Lakes Premium Outlets, this is where we do a lot of shopping for gifts! 10 minutes South of the Casino you will find Seneca Falls, another historic spot in the area. This is the Birthplace of the Women’s Rights movement and home to the National Women's Hall of Fame. This is also where you'll find the "It's A Wonderful Life Museum located in the former Seneca Theater, which explores the history of the Frank Capra film and why Seneca Falls is- the Real Bedford Falls." Last, but not least - the Finger Lakes is well known for it's wine, and you can find wine trails that skirt the Finger Lakes. There is a website with information on those that I can share with you, just let me know! (We can't post links here, but can in the chat inbox). If you're looking for something closer, and shorter, here are a few of the local wineries that you can check out: Ashley Lynn Winery 827 NY-318, Waterloo Montezuma Winery & Hidden Marsh Distillery 2981 US-20, Seneca Falls Izzo’s White Barn Winery 6634 Cayuga Rd, Cayuga Just a note - there are a lot of Amish families in the area who use horses and buggies for transport.
