Camp Pine Knot

Welcome to Camp Pine Knot - Camp Pine Knot is a recently renovated, classic, seasonal Adirondack camp located on the shore of Lake Clear. Minutes away from the Village of Saranac Lake, Lake Clear Regional Airport, Paul Smiths College / VIC, Saranac Inn Golf Course, Tupper Lake/ Wild Center and Lake Placid. IG: @camppineknot The space Camp Pine Knot sleeps 6 people, in total. There are 3 bedrooms: one queen-size bed (Pete Room), one full-size bed (Willie Room) and two twin beds (Ursula Room). Camp Pine Knot has two full bathrooms (one with tub), a nicely equipped kitchen(with microwave), bath towels, swim towels, sheets/bedding, WiFi, flatscreen TV & DVD player, a private dock, one single-person kayak, one 2-4 person canoe, on-site parking, gas grill, electric baseboard heating. Camp Pine Knot has a reverse osmosis water filtration system to use for drinking, cooking, etc. Our water comes from a communal well that is treated & monitored daily. Other things to note The Lake Clear Inn The Lake Clear Inn was a popular tourist destination during the turn of the century. Its placement offered guests a single view of many of the High Peaks. Folks from all over stayed in either the four-story inn or one of the many cottages that lined the shore of the lake. Dinner time was a communal affair; all of the guests gathered in the inn’s dining room at the call of the dinner bell. During the 1960’s the inn’s properties were auctioned off, creating the quiet Adirondack boardwalk community we have today.
