The space Welcome to Villa Coco, nestled on a serene hilltop overlooking the breathtaking expanse of Willoughby Bay, at the tranquil edge of Piccadilly. Just a short 6-minute drive from the vibrant heart of English Harbour, this idyllic retreat offers a perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. At Villa Coco, we offer a variety of accommodations thoughtfully designed to enhance your Caribbean experience. The main building houses the cozy Nook on the ground floor, while the separate Coco Cottage and Sunrise Suite (situated above the garage) provide splendid views and privacy. Your hosts reside upstairs, ensuring personalized attention and local insights throughout your stay. The property itself is a lush oasis, adorned with flourishing fruit trees including soursop, sugar apple, pomegranate, Caribbean cherry, lime, and lemon. Vibrant bougainvillea, fragrant frangipani, and other exotic flowers add splashes of color, while majestic Neem and flamboyant trees provide shade and tranquility. Central to the villa's charm is the inviting pool, shared among all guests, offering a vista of Willoughby Bay and a delightful shallow sitting area—perfect for unwinding with a cocktail as the sun sets over the horizon. Whether you're seeking relaxation, adventure, or a bit of both, Villa Coco promises a memorable escape amidst Antigua's natural beauty and rich cultural tapestry. As mentioned, there are 3 separate rental spaces within the gated property at Villa Coco: - The Nook downstairs (a fully self-contained two-bedroom space with two queen bedrooms with AC, full kitchen, a private walkway and entrance, and private patio) - The Coco Cottage (a one-bedroom cottage with AC located below The Nook with a private walkway and entrance, private patio) - The Sunrise Suite (a one-bedroom apartment above the garage with king sized bed, stunning views, spacious porch but no kitchen - only fridge, microwave and coffee station). If you'd like to book more than one space, send us an inquiry - we're happy to accommodate! The Sunrise Suite is very spacious with a door opening to the breezy balcony outside from both the living room and bedroom. The bedroom hosts a King sized bed, large dresser, plenty of shelving and hanging space, and a very large ensuite with walk-in shower. The living area features a comfortable sectional, bar-top table with two chairs, a microwave and fridge and coffee station. It is steps from the shared pool. Please note there is NO KITCHEN, dishware, or other appliances in this apartment at this time - microwave, kettle (coffee/tea station), and fridge (with freezer) only. Guest access The pool access is shared, accessible right below the Sunrise Suite. There are two sun loungers and available for use, as well as an outdoor shower. The parking space is within the property at the top of the driveway (just below the Sunrise Suite). Other things to note I strongly recommend renting a vehicle for your stay to maximize your experience in Antigua. Villa Coco is not within walking distance to amenities and a car is necessary to make the most of your time with us. A taxi to English Harbour is $20 USD each way, thus quite costly. Many rental car companies offer free airport pickup. If you'd like any recommendations, please let me know what you're looking for, and I'd be happy to help you find something suitable. Many people here drive small cars such as Vitz, which can work fine, but my personal preference and recommendation is a Rav4-or Jimny type vehicle; they tend to handle the bumpy roads and potholes much better, giving a more comfortable ride. Coral around the island has been impacted by record-high temperatures leading to mass bleaching events.
