Our beautifully restored home offers a relaxing and elegant stay in the heart of downtown Brockville, just a short walk from local festivals, restaurants, shops, and the scenic St. Lawrence River waterfront. The space Widow’s Peak Air B&B is a beautifully restored Victorian home circa 1881, located in the heart of historic downtown Brockville. Our central location places you within easy walking distance of downtown festivals, charming boutiques, and a wide variety of restaurants and pubs. The scenic St. Lawrence River waterfront is only a five-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy Brockville’s stunning shoreline and vibrant downtown atmosphere. From the property you can enjoy beautiful views of the St. Lawrence River, and guests are welcome to visit the home’s distinctive turret, which offers a unique panoramic view of the surrounding area. During the summer months, guests can relax on our sun deck, the perfect spot to start the day with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening with a glass of wine while enjoying the warm weather and river breezes. The home has been lovingly restored by the owners, who live on site and take pride in maintaining the character and charm of this historic property. All guest rooms are located on the third floor, along with access to the turret and seasonal sun deck. Please note that as this is a historic Victorian home, there is no elevator, so guests should be comfortable climbing three flights of stairs to reach the accommodations. While Widow’s Peak is a pet-free B&B for guests, the owners do share the home with their friendly dog. Guest access For your convenience, both the main entrance and your room are accessed using the same secure keyless code. Your personal code will be sent to you the day before your arrival. Instructions are located by the entrance to help guide you if you are unfamiliar with keyless entry. Upon entering the house, you will find guest lockers available for your use. The lockers use the same access code as your room. Please note that there are three flights of stairs leading to the guest rooms, as all accommodations are located on the upper level of this historic home. At the top of the stairs you will find the guest ice cooler. We regularly check and refill it, but please feel free to text us if you ever need more ice. During your stay If you have any questions before or during your stay, please feel free to contact us. We are always happy to assist with recommendations, housekeeping requests, or anything else you may need. Other things to note In-Room Comfort: Each guest room is designed to provide a relaxing and comfortable retreat and includes: • Individual climate control • In-room refrigerator stocked with water, cream, and milk for coffee • Ice bucket for guest use • Flat-screen TV and complimentary WiFi Kitchenette & Common Area: Guests are welcome to use the shared kitchenette area, located on the guest floor. Here you will find: • Cereal, fruit (seasonal), milk & cream available for guests • Microwave for light meal preparation • Additional dishes, cutlery, and utensils • Nespresso and Keurig coffee machines • Coffee pods and tea • Overflow supply of juices and bottled water • A freezer in the kitchenette where ice is stored This space is intended as a convenient area for guests to enjoy light breakfast items or prepare small snacks during their stay. Guest Spaces Sun Deck: Guests have seasonal access to the back sun deck, a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while taking in views toward the St. Lawrence River. The Turret: One of the most unique features of the home is the historic turret, which offers a panoramic view of the St. Lawrence River and surrounding downtown Brockville. The turret is open to guests at all times. Parking: Complimentary parking is available just beside the house at the end of Victoria Lane. Parking spaces are numbered 1 through 7. Widow’s Peak guest parking is located in spaces 1, 2, and 3, which correspond with your room number for easy reference. Housekeeping for Extended Stays: To respect your privacy, we do not enter guest rooms during your stay unless housekeeping is requested. If you require housekeeping service, please feel free to text us anytime. For your convenience: • Please place dirty dishes in the labeled bin in the kitchenette • Use the hamper located at the top of the stairs in the hallway for used linens
