We strive to make sure our castaways (you!) experience island life with all the creature comforts but with minimal impact. Our goal is Zero Carbon, Zero Waste, 100% retreat. The space You will be staying in a one-of-a-kind double storey Glamping Tent! The living room at the lower deck is open plan with a day bed that doubles as single mattress, with a mozzie net. Theres a coffee table and simple deck chairs for you to relax and enjoy the spectacular ocean views. The ensuite toilet and open air bath (still under construction at this time) is at the rear of the tent. A solar powered ceiling fan and lights is installed for your comfort. The master bedroom is on the upper deck. This is where you will find a king size 4 post bed with a ceiling fan and mozzie net. The bedroom also overlooks the spectacular ocean scenery. Guest access Castaway Private Islands are privately owned. There are no other inhabitants on the islands except fellow castaways and staff. Let loose your inner explorer and embrace the castaway spirit by exploring every inch of the islands! Access is via private boat (Only) Pick up is in Batam Island. We are running an opening promo at the moment. All Land and Sea transfers from Batam to Castaway Private Island (and return) is Complimentary! Subject to 2 nights/2pax minimum stay. Details of your transfers would be shared upon booking confirmation. Other things to note Advisory for young castaways: Our Castaway Islands have been kept as close as possible to what nature intended, in keeping with our planet-first philosophy. As such no special protections have been put in place for our fledglings. For example, there are no childproof furniture or fall -over protection on the overwater decks. Parents are advised that if they wish to bring their young ones to experience the unfettered beauty of nature, we advise them to watch over their young like a mother whale over her calf. During registration they will be required to acknowledge that they have been advised that the Castaway Private Islands are not suitable for kids below 10 years of age, that they accept these risks and will indemnify the owners, operators and staff from legal action.
