Relax at this peaceful cabin tucked off the beaten path yet conveniently located from Roanoke/Lynchburg/Danville. Walk the woods. Enjoy quiet sunrise on the front porch with the wildlife all around you. Available activities include: walking trails, volleyball, charcoal grills, cornhole, horseshoes and a hot tub on the front porch! *no unauthorized guests *no smoking property *parking in area outside the fence **no bubble bath, foaming suds, bath bombs, oils, fragrance, etc in the hot tub The space The recently completed cabin is host to 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and a full bath. The living room has a pull out couch, love seat and Direct TV available on a large flat screen tv. There is satellite WiFi but it is slow. Kitchen comes complete with dishwasher, large refrigerator, basic cookware and complete set of dishes and silverware. Full size washer/dryer is located under the kitchen island. Complimentary coffee is available. There is a front door/porch camera. Do NOT adjust/move the camera. It is directed towards the front steps and out into the yard. It is not pointed at the hot tub. The road to the driveway is dirt/gravel. The driveway itself is rock/dirt/gravel and not conducive to low grand clearance vehicles. I use a Toyota Camry but certainly wouldn’t want to go anything smaller/lower than that. I have a Saturn Sky Redlinevand no way I would try it with that. Fast and Furious vehicles are a no go. ~1.5 acres fenced so horses welcome. Enjoy a morning ride to the market for breakfast. We are continuing to add to outside amenities. Currently there are two grills (charcoal), picnic table, 2 Adirondack chairs for relaxing on the front porch. Horseshoe pits, cornhole, hammock (200 lb weight limit) volleyball are on the way soon. **please note** ALL amenities and activities are strictly use at your own risk Outside the fenced yard area is a path down to the creek. Plenty of wildlife in the area, including deer, turkey, fox and rumor has it, a couple bears. There is absolutely no hunting on this or adjacent properties. **please note**. The cabin is located in a very rural setting. There is the potential to encounter insects, including the stinging kind, crawling things and various other woods dwelling critters The nearest store (think country convenience store with really good burgers) is Huddleston Market ~10 minutes away. The closest grocery store is either WalMart in Bedford or Food Lion in New London. (both approx 20 minutes away) Nearest restaurants: New London Steakhouse (closest and locally owned steakhouse. You will need reservations) Fast food and Ruby Tuesday are near Bedford WalMart Colonial is approx 25 minutes away (another local fixture with really good country cooking and full bar) Smith Mountain Lake restaurants are ~30 minutes due South **no unauthorized guests **this is a no smoking property **do not drive on the yard **absolutely do not use bubble bath, foaming suds or anything like that in the hot tub Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin and property less the backyard shed and the pull down steps to the attic area.
