The space Tiny House 'De Wylp' (2-3 persons) is beautifully situated on the pond and you have the view over the Frisian countryside. Through the sliding doors you can see the water of the Nieuwe Zwemmer. The cottage is surrounded by nature. Kitchen: Fitted kitchen: crockery, cutlery and pans, 2-zone hob, fridge freezer, coffee machine with coffee cups and kettle. Bedroom: The doorless bedroom consists of a luxurious 2 x single box spring bed 80 x 200 cm and are made up on arrival. The bedroom has a closet and an infrared heated mirror. The third bed can be reached via a ladder and floats above the double arrangement. Bathroom: Shower stall, toilet, sink with mixer tap and hairdryer. The room is heated by infrared mirrors. Outside: Private wooden terrace with two lounge chairs. There are two additional outdoor chairs in the kitchen cupboard. There is a charging point for electric bicycles. In the grass is a fire bowl. By the canal a private lawn to enjoy the passing boats and water entertainment. Other things to note Westergeest is located on the edge of the National Landscape North Frisian Woods between the Swimmer and the Strobosser Trekvaart near Dokkum and Kollum and half an hour from both Groningen and Leeuwarden. The area lends itself well to beautiful tours by bicycle, on foot and by canoe. You can also rent a bike from us. Westergeest is situated in the middle of an area with historic cycling and hiking trails. The National Park Lauwersmeer is within cycling distance. A unique park that offers a range of opportunities for wonderful recreation. Swimming, surfing, sailing, hiking, bird watching. 8 kilometers away is Dokkum, the northernmost city of eleven Frisian cities. In the historic center you will find cozy stores, beautiful terraces and tasty eateries. You can take a city walk on the Bolwerk. The cozy center of Kollum invites you to store. Both Groningen and Leeuwarden are easily accessible by car as well as by train (Buitenpost station). And how about a day trip to one of the Wadden Islands Schiermonnikoog or Ameland.
