Cabin accommodates 6 people comfortably with a private bedroom, semi-private loft (upstairs), and sleeper sofa. The living area has a large stone fireplace, games & movies, streaming apps and fully stocked kitchen. High speed internet and WiFi. The bathroom has a shower, dual sinks, toilet, and basic grooming necessities. Cabin is on a forested acre with fire pit and river access, and conveniently located near the best outdoor recreation: Mt. Rainier, skiing, hiking, fishing, and sightseeing! The space Uncommon Bear Cabin is "uncommon" because it is a rare combination of rustic, off-the-grid charm... without actually going off-the-grid or giving up your creature comforts! The property is native forestland bordered by the Cowlitz River, offering plenty of opportunities to wander through the trees and dip your toes in the water just steps outside the front door. The cabin is campy and cozy, and has everything you need to unwind after a day of adventuring or to stay in and cook a feast. The Cabin is perfectly located just a short drive (or long walk) to Packwood's main street, or a short drive to White Pass Ski and trails within Mt Rainier National Park. You will likely see wildlife during your time at the Cabin, the elk and squirrels love to hang out in the area. We welcome you here, and the mountains are calling!
